Kathy 733 Posted January 26, 2004 Is it such a good idea to have premiership referees for FA Cup ties involving premiership teams? Watching both the Scarborough and Northampton ties I got the distinct impression the officials favoured the top flight teams. They see these players regularly on and off the pitch and this could explain some of the dodgy decisions in both matches. I would be particularly jarred off if I was a Scarborough fan this morning.
