MancCanary 0 Posted April 20, 2014 Even if this game ends in defeat, this game has given me (and I bet the players) hope and belief that we can get a win from the final 3 games.We''ve really worried Liverpool here for the 1st time since the first time we played them under Lambert, when Holty got the equaliser. And we''ve done that by pressing their defence and from players working together to hassle their players into mistakes, giving us many more chances and more belief in themselves that they can score. None of us expected anything from this game, and who would''ve been surprised by another 5-0? It looks like we won''t get any points, but it does look like we''ll go to Old Trafford with actual belief.The difference between this and a Hughton team''s display is huge.
