Ruddy Good 0 Posted May 2, 2005 So stop moaning and groaning about the result and errors from players and so on and so on. We cant change the past. We lost the game that is the harsh truth but we now need to look at our last two games and concentrate on winning those. If we do then i believe we will stay up.Everyone on here needs to start thinking positive rather than moaning all the time about what players could have done to prevent the goals, Worthy should be sacked, the guys a joke, our defence is appalling, we''re relegated now. All the things like that have been mentioned since the loss to Southampton. Lets stop this and please can everyone just start to think about the plus side of the game (we scored 3 goals away from home for the second away match in a row.) and think that we are still in with a good as any chance of staying up still. We lost the match end of. No-one can change that. So stop going on like you can some of you.
Canary Poirot 1 Posted May 2, 2005 Well said Damo for England. We must take the positives from the last 3 weeks and go into Saturday''s game full of confidence and belief, after all, 3 pts is almost needed (I did just think we could get away with a draw - but only if Palace and Saints fail to win their last two games, and we win away!!!).Also, I remember a radio interview with Dowie a few weeks back, and as psychology is a big thing these days, he had a statement which was used to motivate his players: "You cannot change the past, but you can make a new beginning from today and change the future."
