In desperate need of a No10 & Strengthening squad

It looks clear that Hughton has no intention of changing his formation from 4231 the problem is Holt being dragged all over the front line trying to create space we have nobody else in the team scoring regularly from open play.

Pilkington is probably the best we have but blows hot and cold.

For some reason Wes has forgotten how to shoot. In League 1 he scored loads but now he eith just plain won''t shoot or insists on taking 3 touches or running into people.

I have no idea what Hughton was thinking about with the formation on Saturday, I have never been Howsons biggest fan but recently found myself wondering what it is he actually does.

Surely it would have been better to have either Bennett or Pilkington behind Holt at least we might have got a shot on Target.

I think we need 2 versatile forwards who can play in various positions 1 up / 2up / No10 / left or right

Not sure if Hooper is really big enough to play 1 up but people seem to think he does although against SPL defenses, would probably be a good No10. Graham could certainly be versatile. Personally I doubt either will come as there will always be a bigger cheque book somewhere. Graham to Newcastle seems a no brainer to me. Don''t really see Hooper moving till the summer.

No Idea who we should push the boat out for that record signing but suggest we also look for a budget option, the nightmare of ending the transfer window without Striking reinforcements in the summer cannot be repeated.

Still fancy Dani Pacheco we could surely get him on the cheap, he would love to come and he has real class on the ball, play him behind Grant Holt yes please.

We also seriously need another defender / defensive midfielder.

Behind Bassong I think Whittaker has been the signing of the year and I think we are really missing him. He can play DM apparently. Wonder if Russell Martin could play in this role ? Anyway somebody to give us options at CB/DM would be ideal for some reason regardless of back up pairing we look dreadful without Bassong.
