George Smiley 3 Posted January 25, 2012 I can remember that Arsenal once played France at Highbury during their Championship year in 1989 and beat them 2-0 ( back then France were dire, even Scotland beat them in the World cup qualifiers) .If Swansea are Spain with their possession football ,then which team does our style most resemble ?, do we have the teutonic efficiency of Germany due to Lambert''s footballing education?(of course we could never be ranked in the top seeds) not to mention where would our favourite other team Ipswich be in the FIFA world rankings? What countries could we beat?
Shack Attack 0 Posted January 25, 2012 We''re Germany. http://espn.go.com/sports/soccer/story/_/id/7497382/swansea-norwich-bring-much-more-geography-prem-michael-cox? I''m happy with that. Young, dynamic and good to watch. If only Lambert and Cully could get matching sweaters [:D]
YankeeCanary 0 Posted January 25, 2012 I think we are an international team. We are represented by at least seven nationalities that I can think of, i.e., Scottish, Irish, English, Welsh, South African, American and Canadian.
