Chris Harvey 0 Posted January 4, 2005 I heard a rumour we are interested in david johnson ! I know he''s a binner but lets face it he''s better than scowcroft who we have been linked to ! Notts Forest have just signed jack lester from sheff utd and neil harris from millwall and they already had gareth taylor and marlon king so he could be surplus to requirements as he''s probably earning quite alot of £ ! His pace will give teams problems ! Trust me i''d rather have dean ashton or marlon harewood but we are going 2 get priced out of a move for ashton and i think harewood is going to stay with the hammers incase they get promoted at the end of the season ! Nothing to do with his previous connections, simply that he''s scarely scored at all since his injury (which was a while ago now) and from what I hear of him doesnt ever look likely to score nowadays.
