I like Lambert. The team/formation he is using is perfecly designed to put the willies up third div sides used to hoof ball and muscle. All this direct stuff is winning us the psychological battle and this means that our frailties are not being exposed as often. If we go up, it''ll need to be all change but for now it will do.

to be fair we arent just playing direct. The passing and movement under lambert has been without doubt the best since promotion and relegation season. What is most impressive is that we have found the balance between direct and short fluid football and that is why we have been banging them in. Unlike against wallsall when we were too direct and about as unsubtle as a rhino.

do you watch the matches, its not all hoof? the formation is good cause we have a shakey defence it offers protection,plus gives a us a threat going forward!
