Tangible Fixed Assets anyone? 0 Posted July 3, 2008
look at leicester, rich chairman and lots of money pumped in but got relegated.
There is a myth that alot of money was pumped into Leicester. When that takeover was in process I checked the detail and I was surprised how little it was and part of the payment to shareholders was dependant on promotion to The Premiership. I dont think I have kept the detail but if I have I''ll post it here.Leicester''s problem is the high turnover of managers and that doesn''t help even when a club has not been subject to a takeover. Yelverton Yella 0 Posted July 3, 2008 The only thing is, the article says:''The club have confirmed that Simpson and the company''s largestshareholder Lord Ashcroft would look to sell their shares if a buyercan be found."The two guys are prepared to SELL their shares if someone comes forward :"..who is prepared to invest in the club''s long-term future."Strongly suggests they want money for their shares and are looking for someone who is prepared to invest in the team/club as well......Please God we find someone who would do this for us (and soon)!
