Destort 0 Posted June 15, 2008 With all the panicking and negativity going on these boards people have to remember that Roeder will be wanting to shed the name of second season Roeder with his own point to prove here. I think it''s safe to say he would have walked after saving us from relegation if he didn''t think there was a chance of competing in this division.Another point regarding transfers: People complain when we''re linked with a young unknown ie:Carroll for £1m which could turn out to be a surprise. They say we should go for a consistent proven goalscorer forgetting that these are valued slightly higher yet in the same breath moan about the club being skint!! And then if there''s the opportunity to bing in an older player who has scored goals consistently, moan about that too! So to these people, who would you go for?!There is also no doubting Paterson has talent scoring 14 goals in a struggling team ''but'' isn''t that what Jamie Cureton did last season too? Propbably starting far fewer games.I''m sorry it''s just some people on this board find it too easy to rip other poster''s threads to pieces without ever committing themselves.Glass half full!
