1st Wizard 0 Posted October 30, 2007 Lets be honest, we were never going to get Jewell. That left us with a choice of inexperience and costly Simon Grayson or Experience and cheaper in Martin Allen or Glen Roeder. To me the board have made the right decision at this moment in time. Roeder has previous experience with Gillingham, West Ham and Newcastle of turning things around when looking grim and coupled with his experience and knowledge of the game as well as his insistence on playing passing football makes it interesting times ahead. As far as I''m concerned the appointment is a good one considering out finances and will benefit us in the long run. I expect a comfortable mid-table finish with the aid of a couple of astute loan signings as well as a quality assisstan and coach.
