Attended the game in the sunshine and just thought I would give my thoughts on how some of the players performed for those who couldn''t make it. :)

Please be aware that the comments made below are after one match (and for most 45 mins) worth of football so please dont read too much into them. Just my opinion.

Cureton - looked lively, not lost his pace or explosiveness, finishing a touch wayward but expect him to do well this season

Dave the Striker - looked off the pace, but good positional awareness and had a good touch too. will do well but not sure how long it will take to adjust to the english game

Brown - did nothing to suggest he will make an impact this season.

Martin - Played left wing and its glaring how out of position he is there, hope he is played up front this season.

Dublin - commanding performance

Safri - great touch looked good

Croft - dissapointing

Chadwick - played left wing and never looked particularly threatening although did score a nice goal.

Rossi Jarvis - good solid performance from him and I hope he features this season.
