shortfatb 0 Posted October 14, 2006 I''m happy that it''s Peter Grant rather than one of Charlie''s Dad''s '' tossers'' but in truth, and certainly not helped by our lack of success, I was getting bored with Nigel and his team before it was turning sourer than a Yellow fever ( lower case f) rant.I began to know what Nigel would say, the sort of players he would get in and the people he wouldn''t consider and the way we were going to play after they had been on the pitch about 5 minutes. So regardless if it was Peter Grant or any of the managers of small club Champ strugglers or the assistant managers of small club Prem stragglers, it least it will be interesting again for the rest of the year and probably the season. Who will be sacked from the backroom, who will be appointed, who''ll be dropped or loaned out, who''ll be loaned in and then who will be bought and sold in January? And then there''s the games to watch. Look at the number of posts since 6 pm yesterday, there''s so much to speculate and comment on and the City sites might actually have something interesting again, unlike those non-stories on the official site like, ''Hendo boils an egg'' or ''Hucks has pedicure'' crap that they think will distract fans from the dullness that it had all become. Can''t wait, success or failure, at least I don''t know what will happen which is refreshi[:)]ng change from the last couple of do nothing new years.
