Jimaldinho 0 Posted January 22, 2006 Worthy said in an interview after one of our games saying he would only sell Ashton for a silly price. Is £7m a silly price? I believe we rejected one bid like that in the summer from man city. When he said "silly" i thought he meant a bid higher than we had already recieved. Anyway how is that silly when a percentage goes to crewe anyway?!!! Should i be pleased we managed to get that amount for a player who has not exactly scored goals galore this season?
