gazzathegreat 0 Posted October 26, 2005 “We need to get the good players we have at this football club performing to the highest levels again,” he said. “There are injuries there but I have been able to bring good players into the team. At Luton I put out a team that was capable of winning that game and it was the same at QPR. That has not happened - and as far as I am concerned it''s just not good enough. Ahh, at last, well welcome to the board Nigel, we don''t think it''s good enough either, quite frankly. “As I said after the game we have got to get back to basics, get the old fashioned work-rate back into the system. I just want a good performance, a man''s performance. I want it rough and ready. I want us to go into challenges, win them and then go out and play how we can do. It''s not complicated. It has been in the coaching manuals for years - it''s plain hard work. That has been the foundation of our success over the past five years. As they say you can take a horse to water, but you can''t always make it drink. We''re Mr Nice Team at the moment and I don''t like that. If we can change that we will start winning games because the ability is there. It really is getting desperate then when we are prepared to be a man and get stuck in. Don''t let Hughes get too carried away though Worthy or he will be out on suspension These horses that don''t drink anymore, why is that, is plain old tap water less of a thrist quencher than champagne, or do you really make them glug down that disgusting Lucozade!! Nice, oh god the whole damn club is nice, and it would be so nice to win. Please tell the team we want them to win! Yes, that would be nice. “It''s not a case of feeling let down. We are all in this together. The feeling of disappointment and frustration we are feeling is no different to what the supporters are feeling as well. The one difference is that we are in a position to do something about it and that''s what we have got to do. Now, I am afraid, Mr Worthington this is where we might fall out. I don''t think you have any idea how I am feeling, you just don''t have a clue, and it IS your job to do something about it. I cannot put into words just how disappointed I feel, how gutted all Norwich fans are at the moment. Yes, being fan means taking the rough with the smooth, but when our team is so spectacularly underachieving and being beaten so heavily there has to be an answer and for me it is for you, Mr Worthington to sort our team out, if you can''t then may I suggest you leave. And could we please play everyone in the right position tonight, and play to win. Thank You.
