nevermind, neoliberalism has had it 159 Posted January 10, 2015 ''The perfect weapons system'' according to US insiders, with a hot engine easy to be picked up by detection and guidance radars, a severe blind spot which could mean you are shot down, limited manoeuvrability due to weight and stealth abilities, a technically much too complex fighter jet that has nothing to offer modern Russian fighter jets. It has also got an issue with lack of AAM''s, it only carries four when you might need three before you have hit anything, they can be outwitted and detected, so ideally you want more than four. At 191 million a piece, the whole development of the F35, costed at 1.5 trillion, is one of the most expensive flops in military history. This what our establishment newspaper 2014 , the EDP, has to say about this.http://www.edp24.co.uk/news/video_the_perfect_weapon_system_what_to_expect_from_raf_lakenheath_s_new_f_35_squadrons_1_3911198And then we come to the other side, a view from Russia insider.com on the new Suchoi series in comparison.http://russia-insider.com/en/military/2014/11/04/02-05-14pm/latest_russian_fighter_jet_blows_americas_awayPlease read and make your own mind up, the Suchoi''s are attracting much sales and are regarded as the better aircraft compared to the Flanker
Joanna Grey 0 Posted January 11, 2015 FGS, Pierre Sprey, the designer of the F-16 rips into every aircraft (including the Flanker funnily enough) claiming that his baby is, and was, the best fighter aircraft ever made. Perhaps if the Americans had offered him the chance to design an improved version of his baby he would not be so outspoken in his abuse of every multi-role fighter flying today. nevermind, neoliberalism has had it 159 Posted January 11, 2015 Are you mistaking excellence for jealousy, JG, he''s got a valid point and he designs these expensive flying machines.
Joanna Grey 0 Posted January 11, 2015 He is certainly bitter. He also makes hypocritical posts about nearly every other aircraft - F-22, F-35, Eurofighter, Flanker, Harrier, etc, etc. Note that the F-35 basically replaces the A-10 and F-16, both aircraft that he co-designed. This post is typical of a lot of people''s views of him;"Mr Sprey seems to have hardly anything positive to say about aircraft that he personally had no involvement in developing." nevermind, neoliberalism has had it 159 Posted January 13, 2015 Does not detract from the shortcomings of the F-35. FGS, they did not even shoot a missile since last year, the bird has been under development for at least 15-20 years.
Joanna Grey 0 Posted January 13, 2015 Which is the best, F-35 or SU-35? Only one way to find out....
nevermind, neoliberalism has had it 159 Posted June 24, 2015 Well the US is trying their best to fight another war here in Europe by piling in the arms, when they could just go fight each other across the Bering Sea.Here is some manifested evidence that Trident is a museums piece. enjoyhttp://robedwards.typepad.com/files/the-nuclear-secrets.pdf
walkern canary 0 Posted July 13, 2015 There is a lot of nonsense about the F-35 in the press at the moment ,the US Marines are operating it at the moment from the USS Wasp ,with good results .
