nevermind, neoliberalism has had it 159 Posted September 11, 2013 You might have seen the group of happy faces on hearing the news that Japan has been chosen for the 2020 Olympics and wondered what is happening there.Last week we heard of PM Abe pleading that everything is now under Government control and that they would be freezing the ground underneath Fukushima''s triple meltdown.A Kyoto professors says that all of Japan has already received higher doses than ever before and that Tokyo is a high risk zone, being contaminated as it is nearbyNot a word about Tokyo and its problems on our screens, nothing about the increase in radiation dose allowance and the ever spreading contamination with every rain shower. Bluefin Tuna caught on the Californian coast are highly contaminated and it is reckoned that the sea floor on the eastern seaboard is already heavily contaminated due to the sea currents. So, lets look at history and see what we were prepared to do to move or boycott the Olympics. nevermind, neoliberalism has had it 159 Posted September 21, 2013 An underground Ice wall over a kilometer long, artificially freezing the ground and forming a barrier that stops highly radioactive water escaping into the sea.yes that will work, but what will happen with the continuous use of cooling water and faulty vessels leaking and assembling behind this ice wall gently turning the ground underneath the reactors to swamp?is that Japans big plan? In Nov. they will attempt to manually remove the nuclear fuel rods, one by one, 1400 of them, without a crane, on the 4th floor of a damaged reactor building. Any mistake and or touching of other rods and the whole thing can start fusing and burning, for years. because PWR reactors only use 5-7% of anyone fuel rod, the resulting waste has to be cooled constantly, a constant danger and another inherent flaw in the whole design.This site is to monitor the ocean currents and radioactivity in various parts of the pacific. Rather than demand access to the plant, or else not Olympics, they have batted down their owen consumers demand for radiation checks, they increased the radiation values tenfold to accomodate the conatminated fish in their markets.
