  1. It appears we have lost a number of regular posters on here all of a sudden, demonstrating they are only interested in being negative. It would make their comments a bit more meaningful if they could also add the occasional positive comment. A couple of poor results and they''ll all be back and confirm they are only interested in rubbishing our Club.

  2. Enjoyed reading that piece, Drazen That game against Stoke was memorable because the great Stanley Matthews played at 50 yrs old, also Jimmy McIlroy, a fantastic Irish player. We had several injuries prior to the match and had to play several reserves, but what a result 6-0 in front of over 25,000. Very happy memories.

  3. Interesting reading this comment today from the Stoke City Chairman which differs from the threads heading -

He said: "We have made offers for players this

year. On Nathan Redmond, we were prepared to pay money. We met Norwich''s asking

price, but the club didn''t want to sell and I don''t have any quarrel with

    Norwich for that".

Seems to me we will only sell if we want to, and at the right price.

  4. A good piece and if it was too long for some, then why on earth do they need to tell us. Wiz thinks we are £60M worse off, but that is not the case is it? 60M less £23M for starters, less reduced wages, and running costs. When we see that Hull are paying Snod £60K per week and he is not going to be their top earner, it demonstrates the crazy world of Premiership football. That is surely going to change, and Norwich City will hopefully be very well placed by remaining a well run club without adopting the mantra of Premiership at any costs! The Southampton scenario is indeed a strange one - successful season by not being involved in anything much; no relegation fight, no chance of winning anything; and end up selling off several of their best players. Oh, and the Manager pretty keen to move on.  Well, lets hope we have a good season back in the Championship (just the one hopefully) which will endorse the OP''s point.

  5. I wonder at how many Clubs, such a short time after relegation, the Top 3 at their Club would be doing a live session like this - very few I suggest and that is what we have at Norwich City. Whatever our keyboard warriors, and occasionally Wizards think, these are committed people who will do everything they possibly can to make our Club successful. Good on them!!

  6. These concerns about having a defender as our next Manager, well two of my favourite Managers were Mike Walker (GK) and Dave Stringer (CH). John Bond was a full back, and a charasmatic and pretty successful Manager here too. Now Brian Hamilton, very good attacking player, so what sort of a Manager was he then?
