  1. Poor Yaya...first them nasty Citeh folks barely pay him above the minimum wage, and then they forget his birthday. Well, not forgot exactly as they did get him a cake and a tweet, just not a handshake or a Bugatti. And his agent talks about respect...does he know what that means the tw@? Reality check required.

  2. I couldn''t ever imagine supporting another club. I was not born in Norfolk and I have never lived in Norfolk so to some that means I will be labelled a "plastic". I never really took an interest in any particular team until a mate at college took me with him to a game at CR. Because of where we lived we only managed to get to two or three homes games a season (often FA Cup) and a few away matches but I was hooked. It''s unlikely that I will get to CR next season due to my work, but there are several away games that I will be travelling to. I think a better way of determining whether someone is a "true supporter" is what I would call the "wife test". Several time during the season my wife has said to me "I can''t wait for this season to be over because your such a bloody misery when they lose". I may not live in Norfolk, or be able to attend homes games but I care about our club. If that makes me "plastic" then I can live with that.

  3. I think McNally has an important role to play in the clubs future and that will hopefully mean a swift return to the PL. It is right that someone in such a senior position is well rewarded for his success but he also has to share his part of the failure when it happens. I think he is the right person for the role - but I don''t buy any suggestion that he is irreplaceable. We all like to think that we are important in our jobs, but having worked in large and successful organisations myself, the times when someone leaves or retires and people say he / she is "irreplaceable" and then months later the replacement is seen as an upgrade. It doesn''t always happen of course but my point is if McNally left it''s not a given that any replacement would be worse.

  4. Lambert was brilliant for us; he was the right man, with the right approach, at the right time. That time has passed. Too difficult now as others have mentioned. Too much baggage - the board would not trust him after his departure. Personally, I wouldn''t want him back - there are other options.

  5. Feeling a strange blend of emotions right now. Disappointment as relegation seemed so avoidable. Annoyed about some of the overpaid players who didn''t give their best for us. Nevertheless, also quite optimistic that with the right appointments, and some decent signing, we will bounce back. I don''t feel like we are on a downward spiral with no hope. We are financially a well run club. I am looking forward to seeing some better football next year and after all it could just turn out to be a great season next year - especially if we dump on the scum and are fighting for promotion.

  6. Here''s a thought...maybe the anti-Hughton campaign was because most people realised where he was taking us. The fans are not to blame - look at our fantastic away support! With the shocking football they were seeing it was hard to remain positive. Stop looking for answers when the real truth hurts...the board waited too long, Hughton was always the wrong man, and some of the players (not all) were not up for a fight. What we need now is the right appointment to galvanise players and supporters.

  7. My opinion on McNally is that he had done an excellent job for our club in previous years as others have pointed out. Nevertheless, if you are in such a senior position in any company and oversee what will be (if we get relegated) a huge drop in revenue, then you have to seriously question the decision-making - he has to take his share of the responsibility. You can make one good decision after another but if you drop one major bo*lock that can undo all the good work. Not sure where the truth lies but if it was him dithering over Hughton then that to my mind is poor judgement. Hughton should have been dismissed much earlier to give us a chance. My preference would be for McNally to stay. Hopefully he will learn from mistakes made. I would like to think he can make the right appointment and get us back into the PL if we drop down as expected. I would trust him to get things right but he can''t afford another major mistake. Just my opinion.
