1. Absolutely shocking from the FA, but you come to expect it. The referees and their decisions get far too much protection.Thankfully we have a deep enough squad to just about cope without Howson (hopefully), with the likes of Wes and Vadis and a few others who can step in and play a midfield role. Other teams don''t have that luxury, and just have to put up with appalling decisions on a matchday, and even worse decisions once this seemingly moronic FA panel has had the chance to view the incident multiple times on a TV screen.

  2.
Can someone please say what he was saying and moaning about ?
"How come the players don''t play like that every week?" "The players don''t play for the club, they work for the club. It''s their job to put in 100%" etc. "They haven''t got any passion. As long as they''re getting paid and have their 3 year contracts they don''t care about the club." Along those lines. Absolutely nothing positive to say. Hope the oven burns his dinner tonight.

  3. He''s coming in at a great time really. Just before the Bournemouth game which Phelan will be taking care of, so he''ll be able to watch that and see us play, speak with Phelan and the coaches, and then has us for a full week of training prior to two back-to-back home games, which are undoubtedly huge.I''m looking forward to the ride, and am optimistic of it being a good one. To those heading for Bournemouth on Saturday, enjoy it and sing yourselves hoarse, and bring on a fortress Carrow Road for the following two games, when we can all get behind the new manager and the players from the off.

  4.

This is like Peter Grant all over again. Actually worse, we''re about to appoint a Northern Premier level manager with hardly any experience whose side plays absolutely turgid Pulis style hoofball. This would see the club overtake Leeds for having the most batsh1t insane owner. This has potential to be the most dramatic meltdown in the club''s history.
OK, I''ll bite. You are an ignoramous. Northern Premier? Hoofball? Ask Celtic fans who played the better football when we deservedly beat them at home earlier this season. We also destroyed current leaders Aberdeen 3-0.
Ignore him, accie. He''d probably never even heard of the guy before lunchtime today.

  5.
One interesting thing to note is Accies train/play on a plastic pitch and this has been given as a reason for them playing the way they do (and also being a bit of an advantage when visiting teams turn up, so they could be in a bit of a false position).
They''ve won 6 games at home this season, and 6 games away as well, so his team can obviously play a bit on normal turf as well [;)]

  6.
It''s a huge risk again.

Yes any manager is a risk but one failure of Adams was gianing respect of some senior players and I don''t see this guy making a big impact to some of our lazy senior players.
I didn''t know we had ''lazy'' senior players. What I do know is that we had a manager not setting a team up well enough to consistently produce results at a level where we should be doing much better than we are. Many people want a manager with experience. Usually these ''experienced'' managers who get mentioned when a vacancy arises have a CV littered with failings amongst some success, hence why they''re often without a job. All this guy has done so far is come into a difficult job at a small club, won plenty of matches, won a promotion, and is now regularly winning at the top level available to that club.Get him in, I say. There are plenty of managers in their 30''s doing a good job with limited resources throughout the Football League. Just look at the team at the top of our division as the obvious example.

  7.
Offer or not, Adams deserves a job of some capacity at Carrow Road in the future.
Penalty coach after training every day. Grabban trying to score them. Ruddy trying to save them. I expect the very prospect of this training drill though would probably cause the universe to explode.

  8. We need to act pretty quickly, whether it means Phelan getting the job permanently or if we are going to appoint an external candidate. It''s January, the transfer window is open, and most fans would like to see one or two players coming in. It''s no good bringing a new manager in with a few days of the window left, he turns up and immediately thinks "we could do with strengthening <insert positions here>" because he''ll struggle to do that with limited time.We need an actual decision made before the Cardiff game.

  9.
Also I wonder what other managers make of Norwich. Do they think we are mismanaging great players awfully or laugh at how overrated we have them as...
I think they''d look at our squad, see we have players like Wes Hoolahan, Nathan Redmond and Jonny Howson, and think "yeah, I could do good things with a team containing that sort of quality." There will be no shortage of applicants, that is for sure.
