Long way to go.
OK you can get on with your whine festival now about how it's all gone wrong, how hopeless we are. Rupp rubbish McLean hate, blah blah blah.
Idiots.
Pot kettle.

Do you know what toothless means?

I disagree.
A box to box should be able to help defensively and also in the attacking third, e.g, creativity and also chip in with goals.
I dont believe Rupp does either effectively well.

Toothless performance. All huff and no puff.

"Strong performer" is stretching it!

I don't believe that McLean or Rupp is the key to pick the lock! I pray I'm wrong and we'll see second half.

Every mistake. Hammer them.
Ignore other mistakes.
Hammer them.
Two minute hate.
Yes because we all have opinions!

Hate to say it but zero link up play with Pukki so far!
-
Rupp looks unfit!

1 minute ago, TheGunnShow said:Agree, but that could make them vulnerable to central midfielders who can consistently go box to box. McLean's got his weaknesses, but his engine's not one. Rupp's looked decent at that as well - his problems have been in possession in tight spaces.
This brings me back to my original worry. I dont think Mclean or Rupp has shown great link up play with Pukki.

2 minutes ago, TheGunnShow said:With the pace those two have, low skidders are also very likely. Placheta nearly assisted Pukki last week when Rudd redeemed his error with that flying save. If those two get free, expect a lot of low balls fizzed in.
And if Bournemouth took anything away from our game vs Preston last week they will press the wings without the ball and nullify our wide players, especially Hernandez as i feel he struggled last week.

Wondering who in that team can pick a pass or link up with Pukki up top. Pace on the wings yes but Pukki doesnt get on the end of high crosses into the box!

who would have thought they could be so duplicate

over the 20 years of ownership we have mostly had mediocre seasons, a brush with administration when we went down to the 3rd tier and £10 millions wasted on poor players like Naismith
chelsea ownership is a great example of getting a sugar daddy owner that helps transfer a club. The sugar daddy model works the key is the ensure you find the right sugar daddy
I wouldn’t trust the current owners decision making to find that right owner

Krul
Arrons
Godfrey
Gibson
Quintilla
Tettey
Skipp
Buendia
Stiepermann
Placheta
Pukki
There's a lot to like with this line up. Pace on both wings with Max bombing on. Steel in midfield. Creativity with the combination of Buendia, Stiepermann and Pukki.
My guess is Farke will go with the same 11 unless Dowel is out and Max is sold.

I personally think Emi would make an excellent number 10. His tight link up play was at times brilliant in the championship e.g, vs Leeds.
I really don't think he needs much space at all to create as his close control is impeccable and he's great at threading the ball through.
As for Placheta, he reminds me of a young and raw Gareth Bale. Of the little friendlies I've seen ive not seen much evidence his final ball is dubious and he looks pretty decent from a deep set piece delivery.

Awful, bland, boring and a massive anti climax.
Maybe they should consult the fans when it comes to the away kit as the rainbow mock ups were way better.

Only a friendly so not getting carried away but there was a lot of individual performances that i liked.
Good to see everyone trying to impress and play for the shirt.
Looking forward to Huddersfield!

Really liking the look of Skipp in there too. Looks like we have a bit of much needed steel in the middle.

And that was exactly the problem. Rupp and McLean are very similar.
Its just unfortunate they add very little to the side.
