the main thing is that he''ll be able to fit ito the squad immediately, as he will be working down the right with his former teammate edworthy. what we didnt want to do was get a player who would take a few weeks to settle. hopefully that wont apply with cooper

when did a city player last get into an england squad? i think darren eadie, chris sutton and ian crook all played england b internationals but apart from that who has there been? wouldnt it be great to see hucks have a blinder of a 1st prem season and come into the reckoning from the wilderness a la beattie, phillips or ricketts -
don''t ever do that to us again! i''m still shaking! -
take a look at some of the ipsich forums...absolutely atrocious! -
over my dead body do we drop edworthy. -
just as you can discern the age of a tree by the diameter of its rings, i am sure you can tell the age of a person by their imagined diameters of a wagon wheel. my grandad used to claim they were comparable to the rings of saturn in his day. -
no, no you can still get munchies!! in at least 3 different varieties as well! -
its not a kick in the teeth because worthy is simply pointing out that if you are going to do a 6 - 1.30 trip you might as well watch a win. if the fans actions are putting this in jeopardy by demoralising the team it is only common courtesy that nw should let us know. he sees things from the most important viewpoint and if he identifies something which can be changed to imrove the teams performance i would be disappointed if he didnt bring it to attention

it all sounds vry mysterious, all this secret identity business. maybe its robert chase -
i havent checked recently but not so long ago there was a Dr. de Ath in the phone book -
if we are, as has so often been said, the vital 12th player in the team, then we can expect to get rollocked like the others when they dont pull their weight. go worthy -
i count 4

im so glad we didnt sign Goater, Taylor, Fuller, Hulse, Lee, Connolly, Shipperly or Beckett. we wouldnt have seen crouch, hucks, svensson, or mckenzie at city if we had.i think we failedto sin a lot of these strikers because worthy knew they werent really worth the extra effort in getting them. -
i think schadenfreude will be at carrow road if ipswich miss the playoffs

its funny you should mention that suie because i had a funny dream last night as well. i was watching a bear-baiting event with delia and malky when suddenly i realised one of the bears was joe royle, so i mentioned this to delia, who subsequently threw an emmanuel petit-shaped carp at him. it hit him on the nose and he ws sparked into a terrible rage, and came spitting and snarling over to us. ''did you throw that emmanuel petit-shaped carp at me?'' he bellowed ferociously, before mauling malky with a tent peg. myself and delia headed for the exit, but it was guarded by sea-lions who both bore an uncanny resemblence to elvis hammond. they were no match for delia, however, who gouged out their eyes with a quill pen. then a giant sow landed upon the bear-baiting barn and i was sure i heard the distinctive voice of fernando derveld humming the gambian national anthem. but before i could make up my mind i woke up. i was standing in the middle of portman road with a pomegranate attached to my nose. so i caught the 1st train home. the pomegranates still attached though. ive been far too buyto take it off. -
gillespie - over my dead body
harper - we''d have to buy him. were not allowed to take him on loan again this season
bentley - i think hes leftfooted, and is anyway getting onto the gunners bench
warne - rotherham will want him for their relegation battle.
what abut chris eagles at man u? hes tipped as beckhams longterm replacement. he might be loaned out already though, and is arguably far too young, but i or one wouldnt complain. if were going to play a youngster on the right we might as well play an orthodox winger. what does everyone else think? -
i certainly dont want him to play. it would disrupt the team unnecessarily and make no tactical sense whatsoever. i''m sure leon isnt going to get disheartened. its not like hes being ignored or anything, he just doesnt fit into our formation at this moment in time. dropping huckerby, putting a striker on the wing, playing an unfamiliar 443 or playing two very similar players upfront are ridiculous suggestions and people should show a little more common sense. -
count me in

i wouldnt want west brom to win after their unsportsmanlike show against us a few weeks ago. i''d like us to go up to the premiership with wigan. norwich, wigan and sunderland for promotion, with sunderland beating ipswich, hammers, sheff u or baggies in the playoff on penalties just for a little touch of schadenfreude. -
i used to be called kolin kob. can i have kolin''s and my posts added togthr so i can get a squad place? there should also be a fabian wilnis award for worst post...probably this one actually... -
he can play at both of the positions we seem to lack qualiy cover for; right wing and centre back. go figure
-
oh, be quiet kitters, its only a bit of fun. -
i was just coming onto the message board to write exactly the same diatribe!
its not just ipswich though. west brom, sheff utd and west ham have all done the same. moaned and moaned that they have better quality players and dont win as many games as us. GET OVER IT!!! they all just lack the solidarity and team spirit that norfolk has in abundunce at the moment. i hope norwich, wigan and sunderland get promoted this season. theyre the only teams out of the real contenders for promotion this season who have proper, respectable managers who dont whinge and who instil proper team ethics into their players rather than teaching them to fight, moan and cheat. i hope royle, pardew, warnock and megson all lose their jobs after having a nottingham forest-style season in 2004-2005.
grrrr.... -
hopefully thats the last game against the binmen for some time to come
whos the worst signing ever
