  1. Sorry Wiz, but you are talking out of your cauldron bottom.

Zamora is better than you think he is.

He is tarred with the Alan Pardew and Glenn Hoddle brush, and that particular brush, does not bring out the best in certain players due to bad man management, weird tactics and perceived greatness, especially in the case of Hoddle.

  2. That message board is quit depressing though and shows how far a great club like Forest have dropped. Shame really, as always liked going there, good pubs near the ground, and they play football the right way.

And as far avatar pictures, she does look good, but as some of you may have guessed, I look nothing like mine, so that is no guide!!

  3. Hi FMF

In response, I feel that it is a total bluff, but in a way I am pleased that the club has finally grasped the whole concept of bluff, as it is a previously unheard of concept.

For years, when we have been interested in a player, the EDP has carried the details for weeks, and there have been no real suprises. For me, bluff has to be the way forward, and if it is, then fantastic, and lets pull a shock signing out of the bag.

Another thing which is worth mentioning is Francis. When he was first injured, there was talk that he would come back into first team action in the mask. This did not happen. Now he is back in training with the mask, but still no place in the squad, despite injuries.

Now he is training in "full contact training" without the mask, but still does not appear to be any closer to coming back.

    Is he

    a) Not recovering as well as he/the club thought?

    b) Not being risked as there may be a bid in for him?

    c) Not putting himself out as there may be a move on the cards?

    Any thoughts?????

  4. There were also a couple in the snake pit, who had been respectful all the way through, but could not hide their Thetford roots when Keane put his goal away.

I do not mind if away fans sit in home areas, as long as they are silent, respectful and do not make it obvious "who they are".

The stewarding is another point altogether though, and surely any objections, especially from the home fans should be dealt with seriously, and not shrugged off!!

  5. Cheers for the reply Morph, was a bit of a stab in the dark to be honest, but it was amazing to see a NCFC scarf so far from home! The guy in question was slightly balding, had a black puffa jacket on, and I would say was in his late twenties/early thirties.

Got to say, Edinburgh was a really nice place and will definitely be back up there again in the future.

  6. The difference for me on Saturday was when Huckerby was through on goal after about 6 minutes, and despite having the possibility of a shot, fell over.

The next thing, malbranque gets hold of it, give it to Cole, who instead of falling over, shoots and scores.

    So, a striker who

    1) Does not fall over

    2) Can head a ball

    3) Can control a ball

    would make a difference
