Completely unfounded rumour alert! A mate of mine is a Leeds fan and the word on their forums is that we''ve agreed a £4m deal for Becchio. He seems convinced that Holty is included as a player swap in that deal. I sincerely hope not! Becchio is not worth more than £3m on a very good day, and why would we want to get rid of our captain and talisman?! We need to strengthen and this would be a massive step backwards. I''d rather see us continue with what we have.

Would be a good signing. I heard reading had a bid of £1m rejected with Birmingham holding out for £2m.
