1. What a difference in performance!!!! Unfortunately Farke was the limiting factor in this league as the team looks completely different now Smith has taken over. Our tackling, work rate and desire have all improved and we now look competitive in this league, which we very rarely did under Farke.

I know it's early days but it feels like we've now have a chance of staying up

  2. We are absolutely goosed!! Teams know that if they score, they win the game as we're completely toothless going forward. Pukki is a yard off the pace and as I've said before I still don't know what Sargent brings to the party.

I'm undecided as to whether today was a step in the right direction, as it's great that we kept another clean sheet but our lack of goals will ultimately result in us being relegated.

  3. There did seem to be a change in our philosophy today however I'm not sure we have the players to make it work.

Krul was much slower with his distribution and he played far more long balls but this really doesn't play to our strengths. It did however minimise our errors in the final third but if this was our plan B then why didn't we keep Hugill or recruit a similar target man. He was never going to be prolific in the Prem but he would've brought players into play and given us a physical threat up top, which I still feel we're lacking. Sargent works hard but I'm yet to figure out what he offers the team. He runs around and closes down but there doesn't seem to be much else to his game, which is a shame.

The overall performance was much better today but we need a cutting edge or a bit of luck. Bring it on after the international break!!

You honestly think any manager could keep this bunch of players up?

Farke is out of his depth, but he's got a strange bunch of players that have been put together with little rhyme or reason.

How could any manager do any worse?

If any one of us were at the helm for the past 16 Premier league games then we couldn't have done much worse and who knows we may have even picked up a point here or there.

Farke for whatever reason isn't up to the task at this level so to save our season I believe we need to take swift action and at least hope for some sort of kick start with a new manager because if we don't we're down by Xmas at this rate.

  5. If we want to stay in the Premier league then Farke has to go, now!! From project restart until today, every game in the EPL has had the same feel; we pass it around at the back, make a mistake, the opposition takes advantage and scores, we continue to huff and puff without any real threat and bizarrely lose the game.

Webber needs to show his minerals and make a change, as Farke is exactly what we signed him as, a second team/division, coach/manager. He has brought us so many amazing times but he's not up to this level of management. His philosophy of 'farkeball' works brilliantly in the championship but against better opposition it's too easy to play against.

The question is who will take the reins?? I would be very open to big Woy Hodgson in the short term with either Eddie Howe or David Wagner as possibilities longer term........hard hat on!!!!

  6. I love the football we play but it's the definition of stupidly to keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

I'm really excited about this squad and we look so much stronger than 2 years ago but Farke has to now prove his worth. He's been provided with the weapons this time but can he make a tactical assault on the PL??

  7. This most definitely isn't a 'Farke out' thread but at what point do we consider making a change of manager?

My personal view is that we should stick with him for the foreseeable but at some point we may have to accept that, at this level, he's just not good enough.

Today was an absolute shambles and I can't recall a game when we have been so outplayed. Yes I know it's Man City but I reckon if Kings Lynn had faced them today the result wouldn't have been too dissimilar

The question is, how many consecutive defeats at PL level can Farke have before questions start being asked?

  8.
Our home form is a huge problem.

Away from home we''ve been very decent overall, but I can''t remember the last time we looked like winning on our own turf.

However, football is a fickle game. I think we will finish top 10, but boy do we need a goal poacher in Jan.
What on earth gives you the impression that we''re going to be in the top 10 come the end of the season? We are fighting relegation and if the last few games are anything to go on we don''t have the fight or desire to stay up.

  9.
The whole experiment is an absolute joke and always has been

People will still defend it though

What could possibly go wrong with appointing a lower level German coach and a load of lower level players, in a league harder and more competitive than they’ve experienced before, with rigid tactics and a quite honestly delusional approach, I ask again what could go wrong?

All of you who voted yes to the straw poll about wether farke should be given time should hang your heads in shame

    Useless from top to bottom
I have to agree. There is absolutely no chance that this ridiculous ''experiment'' is ever going to work. We have cleared out all the deadwood/any sort of quality and brought in div 1/2 players.

Farke has tried to bring in the posession game but it just does not work. We have a defence and an attack, nothing in between so where is the midfielder to knit it all together; anybody fancy a Howson at this moment in time??

I get that we''re trying to safeguard the club but the best way to do this is by achieving success; something we are a long way off doing. We need leadership and quality, if not we are going down either this season or the next.

  10.
" Jarvis is free to look elsewhere whilst he is recovering". It''s called leaving by mutual consent.
Jarvis could look all he wanted but who would sign him with his current medical situation? Makes no sense to pay up his contract unless it is deemed by the medical staff that he has no chance of playing professional football for NCFC again.

Just maybe, he will make a return and repay some of the money we''ve spent on his wages, transfer fee and rehab.

Do you not think that the players all have insurance which  sure covers them for long term injuries & loss of wages maybe?
Well of course, what I said was in jest. I don''t think he''ll ever play for us again anyway
Hindsight is a brilliant thing and if I recall there weren''t too many arguments about us signing him on a permanent. He''s been incredibly unlucky with injuries and could''ve been a big player for us but unfortunately I reckon that''s his career finished.

  12.
If you notice, it was Lakey who picked the fight with me.
Isn''t it amazing the chain reaction that can occur from one person posting an absolute load of old codswallop......people falling out, getting irate etc.......i wonder why waveney would do such a thing?? Hmmmm!!!!!

  13.
Well im willing to give it a couple of seasons to be honest. I think the route we''ve taken is the right one.
I''m presuming that''s as long as we stay in the championship and are competing for the playoffs. Would you still have the same confidence in taking this route if we''re mid table in league one in 14 months time?

I honestly don''t think we''ll go down but all this talk about buying players for the future and the big project is absolute twoddle. The only thing that matters in football is "the now" as it all revolves around results. Does anyone actually think that farke will still be here if we do go down and are struggling to get back up? He''ll be sacked the same as every other football manager regardless of what the project is. Come to think of it, I''m sure that Alex Neil was some sort of project initially and look how that turned out.
