1.
Why can’t people just be honest? Today we didn’t deserve it and got very lucky. Villa we shaded but lost, Cardiff we thrashed and were unlucky not to get a result. Most of the season we’ve been very poor, today included.
I kind of agree but if you cant celebrate and be happy about a 2-0 win away from home when can we?

  2. I''m sure it''s already been discussed so wont give my indepth view of the game.Just a few things:1. The away support was brilliant. Was expecting for the Yellow Army to be quiet and anxious but it wasnt like that at all! Backed the boys from the off. 2. Redmond. Great player dont get me wrong but his end product could improve- not a criticism of the young chap as he''s a great talent and we all know he''s still learning his trade. Decision making is part of that. There were a few occasions when he shot instead of passing but still played well.3. Ruddy. Back to his best today. Made a few top saves and when their striker went through he made himself as big as he could to restrict the available options of which direction to shoot. Well thats how I saw it anyway- was a shocking miss!Finally- the "this is how it feels to be Ipswich!" song was class. Never really heard it before. OTBC
What with Hootun spending millions more than the teams around us and the fact we already had a Premier League quality squad I was sure we''d be in for at least a Europa League finish this year. We''re just a midtable outfit and it isn''t good enough for one of the country''s top 40 biggest clubs. Failing to  trouble United in the Cup is fine, it''s just the cup- but to play an average Chelsea under Mourinho, an Arsenal side with only one good striker, and a Man City side we confidently beat away last season just is not good enough. We need to get rid of Clueless now.
Detest posts like this.People are fed up with surrending (before we''ve even kicked off!) the majority of away games we play with HOOTUN as boss.  If you cant accept that people have valid fears about relegation - and with the squad we have we shouldnt be as close to the drop as we are!- then you''re in the wrong place. It''s a message board after all [:P]

  4.
I didn''t see much negativity when CH at Newcastle plundered 100 goals in the Championship.

It''s all about what you see as the best chance of getting the necessary number of points. What people forget is that even under PL the wheels were coming off at the back end of that season, we lost 7 of the last 13 games including 6-1 to Citeh, 2-0 at Blackburn and 3-0 at home to Liverpool in succession.

Clearly all managers have a different philosophy on the best way to get results. CH, at Premier League level where much of the time we play sides with better players than us, seems to prefer a more rigid style which, let''s not forget, has proved very successful at Carrow Road.
Championship football isnt as difficult as Premier League football.

Of course I''m ranting Nutty, we just lost 5-1, we lost 4-0, 7-0, 4-1 ths season.

We play some of the most boring football in the premiership, we have the worst defence in the league and I''m bored to tears with Hughton & his tactics. Even he doesn''t know if he''s playing a 4-5-1 or 4-3-3 he keeps saying it''s a FLUID 4-3-3, no it''s not, it''s a rigid 4-5-1 and we keep getting thumped!

I more confident we will lose by three goals than we have any chance of beating WBA. They will see this game as the one to win to get going, you can bet they will be at us from the word go and we have another player who loves to score against Norwich in Long!

And why do you say that a defeat to WBA would be his downfall, you have just said take out the top 6 clubs results Hughton is doing a good job, you said we are 4 points clear of the bottom 3 so why would you think a loss to WBA would be the downfall of Hughton?

It''s not just the results Nutty, the performances, the players past and present are having digs and even you can sense something is not quiet right with this management in charge at present!

As pinted out away attanedances are dropping, our home perfromances have been nothing but nervie and I for one never go to game thinking we will win this one, just go and hope we win! I keep pointing out that we are a third season club, we have a great base to build from, sticking by such a negative manager might be the undoing of all that Norwich have worked hard for!
Nail. On. The. Head!

As I have said before and I will continue to say- people have extremely valid fears about relegation (imo if we stick with CH we''ll go down) and they are entitled to post them.

  6.
Good or bad times, we are all supporters (I hope).   It''s tough at the moment, but so it is for several other clubs.   Our squad, for all the money spent, is still not as good as several other squads and the only way a club like ours will succeed is if we are all pulling together.   Its the only way.  We know that is true, because under Lambert we saw what can happen if everything is positive about the club.   The message holds true today.  We are still in the premiership and are four points clear of 18th.   Our finances are still in good position and our board is strong.

Where we (obviously) need to improve is on the pitch. Some of us on here can see that it will take time to come to fruition and that there have been some improvements to outfield play, but that is being undermined by the quality that some other teams have and we are being punished at the moment.  But its not new.  The 1-1 draw at Anfield two seasons ago was as one sided a match as you could want to see and should have been a hammering if Liverpool had had a striker of note.   They didn''t and we had Grant Holt, but that is history.   But they have upgraded and now have the strike force.  And its the same all over the league. Teams have improved by spending millions that we can only dream of.   So we are still struggling to compete.

But we are succeeding.  Ask Fulham, Palace or Sunderland fans.   We can go into the next game thinking we can climb the table with a good performance.    Those three clubs are clutching at straws to try and break out from the bottom three. Perspective is easy if you look for it.  The bottom line is, we are operating on a shoestring but have good prospects for the season if we keep the faith and have patience.

Patience - and once the squad is fit and playing at its peak, we will see much better.

Shove your uber positivity. Away performances are flipping woeful.

    Hughton out.

I don''t understand why any Norwich supporter would WANT to talk up their chances of promotion.

They are a grubby little club, their hands forever dirtied by their actions in stealing from the local businesses that supported them and charities. The place is a dump, the ground is a dump, their kits are always vomit-inducing and the twins off the market support them.

I bet Southampton fans don''t give a fig about how Portsmouth are getting on. Lil''ol''Norwich fans.....
I can assure you, Southampton DO care about Portsmouth are doing..
