I would have Alex over Wagner at the moment.

You can`t appeal two yellows resulting in a red.

If Gibson scores the winner against WBA then all will be forgiven.

That's good cos three wins in a row is highly unlikely.

Can we stop playing Gibbs as a striker. Wagner doesn`t do himself any favours by picking the lad to play there. Has to be a better option to play him deeper and either Sara or Nunez as a ten. Or am I missing something.

I certainly don’t think it’s a detriment to have a right footer playing on the left side of central defence. A good defender is a good defender regardless of which side of the centre he’s standing when the game kicks off.
I think our right footed centre backs have proved you wrong. 😉

I`m convinced the reason Gibson was playing each week until his injury is because he is the only left footer. It is clear after watching Duffy , Batth and slightly less Hanley, that none of these are very good at playing on the left. It was a similar problem last season. So working with what we have, after yesterday I wouldn`t mind seeing Mclean given an opportunity there, thought he did well, played some good long balls, decent in the air and good with the ball. Many will disagree but who else can fill that position and look comfortable. Playing a right footer there really isn`t the answer.

Looked better when played in his normal position, right side centre half. Simple.

To be fair to the guy he's a winger and his manager is the one that put him at left back. Can't blame him, when he went forward he looked decent.

Yes I know he`s not the greatest and all that, but his treatment by Wagner is shocking. We have little choice up top at the moment, well for a while now, so why would you not persevere with the one real centre forward we have. We all know he`s the type of player that needs confidence but Wagner knocks that out of him every time there`s a game, either by not starting him or taking him off. Clearly Wagner has no man management skills, the guy is an arm around the shoulder type of player, he needs his boss to support him and give him all the confidence he needs, yes he has had lots of opportunities to impress but you still need support to be a success. I just don`t get Wagner. Add Idah to the growing list of players that must be shaking their heads.

Strange one, sadly I don't rate Springett, today we took off a left winger (Onel) and replaced him with a right winger (Springett) then moved our right winger (Rowe) to left wing so Springett can play on the right. Then we take off our left winger (Rowe) and replace him with a right winger (Fassi) and move our right winger to left wing (Springett) keep up. Bizarre, as the only real change needed when we were leading by two goals was to replace Gibbs with Forshaw and push Sara further forward. Strange subs once again costing us points.

Forshaw should have been brought on for Gibbs yesterday and Sara moved up. Quite simple really.

There weren't any tactics, just let Coventry have the ball and hope we soak up the pressure. Should have replaced Gibbs with Forshaw, moved Sara into the number 10 and left Idah on up top.
-
Should have started tonight, manager knocked his confidence again. Header wasn't as easy as it looked, ball came in really hard, even Shearer would have struggled to get that on target.

How is this **** still earning a living as a pundit. Terrible player, terrible pundit. Hates the team that gave him his big break. Can't believe Sky can still give this guy a job.

I'm just glad that Everton lost again, can't stand em.

Today was the first time they have come up against a tough team, Leeds is always a tough game. I had no doubt that they would lose, the bubble has burst. They have had their fifteen minutes of fame.

Boring second half. Championship is so much more exciting.

Think he will start next Sunday, probably for Onel.

Getting closer!

2 hours ago, RobJames said:No. They are guessing that Aarons might be a 'potential,'replacement. That is if he has not joined Leeds as some were dim enough to believe. Talksport are slightly less reliable than Russel Grant.
I`m dim enough to believe he is going to Leeds.

Everton for me. Always think they are better and bigger than they are, lucky to escape relegation last season are are just as poor this.
