  1. Oops - sausage fingers. Was going to add,, not quick enough, not strong enough, not accurate enough, and error prone.  You can’t change that by changing the manager, or in one transfer window.

No chance of staying up.  Time to drop the loan players as we have nothing to gain from playing them.

  2. Interesting to see if Newcastle join the big boys, how the smaller rich clubs cope.  Eventually Spurs and Arsenal may not be able to compete for a Champions League place.  How long will their attendances hold up playing for sixth every year?  Will the owners of those clubs sell up with no glory to chase?

We can’t compete at the moment - even a rich owner isn’t going to make a club competitive in the Premier League now - it would take a Bill Gates fortune.

  3. Just my opinion, but I’m surprised how quickly the team has lost the fans.

I wonder if not being at games last season, and the player turnover has broken the unity we once had.  The new players haven’t fought to get us up, they don’t know each other, and some just want to play in the Premier League.  We have no bond with them compared with Alex, Mario, or Onel.

I’m not seeing better players than we released or sold.  I don’t think the current players have the skill or strength to stay up, Weber has invested poorly, Daniel looks lost and fed up, and the support has gone silent.  I don’t think many of the Board, Coaches, Players or fans think we can compete at the moment.

Unless something can spark a reunification to bring us all the elements together the future is grim. As fans we can bring back the noise, but we need someone in yellow to show us something to get behind.

I have supported Norwich for over 50 years, and I don’t think I have been as ashamed of some of our supporters than after the Watford game. The utter drivel I read on various social media accounts, the booing at the end of the game. And yes before you start I was there. Shouts of “”Farke doesn’t know what he is doing” even as far as “Farke out”. Lower your heads in shame, myopic, lacking in perspective garbage. 7 of those players yesterday who were on the pitch did not play for us last year, 2 were making their debuts. There was signs of promise, but yes it was a bit disappointing the result, but what you expect throw everything up in the air and expect it to fall down on the ground perfectly and gel, it won’t happen!! Blaming Farke is naive and moronic !! Some of you should just go support the shi— te down the road. Pathetic - be careful what you wish for city fans!!!

What appears to be being wished for is -

    A rich owner like Derby

Lampard - great job at Derby breaking the bank, then spending millions at Chelsea and being sacked.

Howe - who gets homesick when he gets north of London, wins when he has a financial advantage , and ended up taking Bournemouth down.

Big Sam and Chris Wilder - relegated or sacked when bottom last season.

The who’s fault is it list for yesterday appears to vary but so far we have, Delia, the Board, Weber, Farke, Hanley, Kabak, Williams, Gilmour, McLean, and the fans.

I had a long think about our situations after today's disappointment. I don't want Norwich to be a club that gets rid of a great manager (and great guy) when he, the club, and the supporters are having a tough time. Nor do I want Daniel Farke him to feel that he should resign. The club has fantastic owners, a sustainable set-up and some great young players to come through. Just look at supposed big clubs such as Derby, Forest, Wednesday, Sunderland as comparisons. I would rather we go down than lose Daniel Farke, even if it meant we did not come straight back up again. His general football philosophy and style of football is something we have not seen sense Ken Brown or Mike Walker and I believe we are the envy of many a club. All clubs go through tough times and we need to use the experience to make us even better in the future. I suggest that those who already want the manager out (and there are some starting to come out of the woodwork) have very short memories and should be very careful what they wish for. As an example look what has happened to Bournemouth after Eddie Howe felt the need to leave; not only are they stuck in the Championship but their legacy is tainted, we all saw what they had become last season. Oh, and a message to the haters, I am not a newbie, I have been following City home and away for 60 years and the football under Daniel Farke has been the best to watch. I want to support a good, family club, not a Premiership Club 'at all costs'. The money means a lot but is not everything and I don't believe I am the only one to think the Premier League is nothing like the promised land the marketing companies and sponsors make it out to be, except for a few elite clubs. Personally, I find the Championship to be much more competitive and a happier experience all round.

Pretty much how I feel.  I hoped the new signings would be good enough to play our style of football in the Premier - but that hasn’t looked the case so far.  I do worry how bad the season could get without the home fans vociferous support.  The team needs to give us something to shout about very soon to get us back onside.

How does that change what’s happening on the pitch? There are clearly problems that desperately need addressing unless you want this team to go down as the worst in PL history.

I don’t think anyone posting their thoughts on here is going to change what’s happening on the pitch. I am sure we all want the best for the team.

  7. Farke has shown class throughout his time with us.  He doesn’t blame individuals (although he does move them on), he knows we win or lose as a team, he has faith and supports his players when up against it. He doesn’t make knee jerk reactions and is realistic.

He wouldn’t fit in on this message board.  Two Championships, but he doesn’t know what he is doing.  Kenny, Zimbo, and Pukki have all become not good enough for no reason.  What short memories we have.

I can’t think of a better person to be at the helm during another difficult season.  Please get behind the team, they need us.

  8. I would imagine the Manchester United Supporters Trust don’t have membership of the majority of Manchester United fans.  Are they just led by a bunch of people who want to be “Big I ams” without putting any money in, or bringing any business or sporting acumen to the club?

I think we need proper regulation, a fairer distribution of money, and protection for all clubs. I wouldn’t want a load of thugs attacking the police, trespassing, and smashing things representing me on a clubs board though.
