  1. Can''t remember who it was but if you''re going to point fingers you have to blame the mis-timed tackle...

Martin had no choice but to begin closing down the player in possession leaving "his man" open. Klose done his best to cover Martins man but in doing so left his man open. Rotherham got a lucky flick on and the rest is history.

You could argue Olsson should''ve came across to cover but I''m sure he would''ve been leaving somebody open as well.

We won the game. So I can''t say I''m overly worried.

  2. I must''ve missed Ruddys excellent kicking and lightning speed off his line.

At least McGovern is a brilliant shot stopper which is more that can be said for his rival.

As for "command of the area".... Ruddy looks likes a overly excited dolphin whilst defending corners. Flap flap flap.

  3. You can''t really blame the players for looking lost on occasion.

Neil seems intent on changing tactics/personnel on a weekly basis. Obviously we''ve been unlucky with injuries this season but it has been the same story since his arrival.

Under Lambert we played fast counter attacking football, under Hughton we played defensive football.

    What''s Neils style of football?

  4. KerianSkikari

If we don''t get promoted at the first attempt the Premier League could soon feel like a distant memory. Ask Bolton fans, Blackburn, Charlton, Leeds, Birmingham, Forest, Wolves, Fulham, Derby, Ipswich.. the list is endless.

If it does take us a few years to return I honestly can''t bare to see the club return to days of Delia having to stump up 40k to bring in players like Carl Robinson.

Just because we''re sitting pretty financially currently doesn''t mean we should be irresponsible.

Of course hopefully McCormack bangs in 30 goals, we walk the Championship and we can bring this thread back up as egg on my face.

  5. Actually Hogesar what''s even more pathetic is calling other fans pathetic for having an opinion.

Personally I feel 15 million is way to much for a player on the brink of 30 who hasn''t played above Championship level.

As you say it''s up to Alex Neil but his dealings in the transfer market thus far have hardly been a great success.

If we don''t get promoted at first attempt we''ll be lumbered with a 31 year old McCormack on big money and with very little resale value.

They say managers live or die by their ability in the transfer market and if Neil decides to blow 15 million on a 30 year old forward the axe will already be raised if things start to go wrong.
