    what a signing. this guy will run through brick walls like the others do, hunt the ball down and has that arrogance on the pitch towards the opposition similar to chris Martin. but this guy really cares about the club hes at. on twitter he''s devastated if palace lost and says sorry tithe fans and everything, think how motivated he''ll be with 26,000 cheering him on! this guy also is very hard and has a hood engine. soooo happy!

    saw the surprise line up and thought I''d flick it on. vokes and tudur-jones are starting plus Martin is on the bench for Scotland I think.     people have linked him with us in here but I really really hope we don''t get him, he is the worst CDM I''ve seen who plays each week I''ve seen in ages! so can people please not link him to us, he gives the ball away sooooo much. last night and against middlesborough all I heard the commentator say was "and olifinjana gives away possession again!" he is not even that physically dominant for his side, leigterwood had him in his pocket, I thought he would be a handy player to have in the squad, very neat and keeps things simple.''he have 40 mill to spend apparently, so we can get much better than him.

    I also think we need another big targetman for the Premiership and if we can get a smaller striker on a free or relatively cheaply then it will leave us with more money for a decent big targetman.

     

    I think the same can also be applied to the other positions that Lambert feels he needs to strengthen - don''t be surprised to see us signing players on frees or relatively cheaply so that we are strengthening the squad overall and leaving the money for Paul to maybe bring in the 3 or 4 players that he wants that he knows will cost some decent money.

    hit the nail on the head there, especially about getting the best out of players. I hadn''t heard of fox or crofts or even surman. or even tierney. its not about visible quality, it''s about potential quality.

    for every 10 liverpool fan''s tweets theres 1 norwich fan''s tweet. i think all the norwich tweeters should send him more encouragement just to let him know how much we think of him and so he feels he has the option. i know he probably knows this already but if we keep drilling the message into his head it will be firmly stuck there and i believe there''ll be a good bond between us
