Mortys table did not transfer under the "quote" button. Just a jumble of meaningless hieroglyphics. But then, that is probably appropriate. -

Tetty has since received a twelfth yellow and has served his three game ban. Petty out of days if you ask me. -
Dundee FC board on not606. Since July 2012 there have been eight threads started to which there have been twenty messages posted. Our board must seem like eating steak rather than sawdust to our northern poster. -
I lived in Gib on and off for about 4 years in the 60''s and 70''s. They had only one grass football pitch then, in a town whose population is smaller than Swaffham. -
If he doesn''t get us up, there are no guarantees that we''ll offer him a contract. Although he''s done a great job since coming in, its not a foregone conclusion that he''ll be here automatically the following season.
I believe when he came down from Scotland he stated that he was not going to relocate his family until the summer in case he was not successful. This would indicate a longer term engagement. -
That interview shows how grounded and realistic/honest AN is. He is a born leader, able to accept, and analyse, his own mistakes, and learn from them. He has been our manager for nearly three months now, has he ever been less than honest in his, and the team''s, performances? Basically, in the cynical world of professional football he stands out as a very unique specimen. OTBC. -
Charlie Boyer and Ted MacDougall were a double act, which could divide the vote for them both. Crooky not getting it amazes me. -
Memorial? Is Doherty dead?
My thoughts exactly GtG. His passing must be of the Mark Twain variety. -
Quality post Mervyn! Never has a Binner been able to string so many sentences together in one post before now! Legend, true legend!
If you go back and read it RM, I think you will find that there is only one sentence, but many words. -
Mmm cant get away from us and Bournemouth and had a couple of goes !Bournemouth 46 35 94 Norwich 46 31 89 Watford 46 28 88 Brentford 46 12 88 Middlesbrough 46 28 87 Derby 46 29 86 Wolverhampton 46 6 75 Nott''m Forest 46 8 74
I wonder which of the ten sides Bournemouth have to face will manage to avoid defeat and draw in your scenario. 28 points in their last ten games? Not a chance. -
We actually made an astute decision to appoint Adams. He did much better for us than the various managers of our fellow relegated teams, but not quite good enough to make us strong promotion canditates. Because of this we now have AN as our boss. I call that a win/win scenario. -
Plus my local bar has got access to Sky so would get to see a lot more matches. -
Plus, if we are not promoted it is more likely that the binners could scrape in, and we certainly do not want that. In the PL with AN will be a totally different ride to having CH at the helm. Looking forward hopefully/expectantly. -
For one so young, managerially, he does seem to have a presence and drive, as well as managerial ability, that separates him from the common herd. I just hope that if he is as good as we believe, he gives a few years before moving to Real Madrid (slightly tongue in cheek - possibly). -
It might be a bit of a statement but... Are we/could we be the "next west brom"?Boing boing?
Actually Buh, that is not a statement, it is a question. And a petty unintelligible one at that. -
Less the coming of the messiah, more the falling of the messiah. Waveney definitely has a messiah ( I deliberately did not use a capital "m" ) fixation. I wonder, is he son of....... -
2-0 to City. Redmond and Hooper scoring.
Thank you for a voice of reason Percy. Our manager has never managed ANY team against them. How many of our squad have ever played at Ewood park for City? What has happened in the past should have no bearing on tonight''s events. I would hope that the players have no knowledge of the past results between us. And we are ten points ahead of them, so are infinitely better. -
My take on the situation is that he is with us for one month, returning to WBA for the international break. He will then return to us for the rest of the season, including all playoff matches if needed, and his move will be made permanent in July for £2M according to one report, or £3.5M according to another. Good piece of work by DM on this. -
I''ve been several times, I''m sure there are teams/games when they are busting for a fight, but we''re not likely to be one of them and I''ve not seen anything iffy...though there is always an undercurrent. Back in the days of the old Den it was weird being ''properly'' escorted to the station - police at the front, back and side, clearly expecting something....it was a bit weird.
Yeah, I remember being escorted up Old Kent Road to New Cross station. -
Tetty himself, a few weeks ago, said that his knee "needs to be managed". This would indicate that he will miss games to keep him fit. I doubt very much that he will play tonight, keeping him available for the binners. And a yellow in that match would be very timely, missing Wigan and Millwall games, but clearing him for the rest of the season, plus he gets a short break to rest his knee some more. I call that a win/win situation. -
Deep down I''m sure most fans know the importance of every up coming game. The Blackburn game for the reasons you state. It is not about confidence as much as 3 points. Every game that is not won must now be seen as lost points And we should (and undoubtedly will) be approaching this with that mindset.Unfortunately the Ipswich game has far more significance for the fans. And given how circumstances have changed so much for both teams in the past few weeks, the interest has naturally racheted up. I suspect that you are fearful that the players might take the approach that you think many on here are taking, which is that the Blackburn game is not so much a formality, but that it is not that important.I''m sure the players have had a whiff of promotion and as AN was brought in to ruthlessly drive the players towards that aim, I''m sure there will be no slackening off at Ewood Park.
I am fairly confident that failing to win AT ANY TIME will result in points lost Tom. -
Have to set my alarm for this, 03:45 kick off for me. Will be following all being well. Continue our fine run pup till the binners game, sixth consecutive win? -
What a great position for a manager to be in. Losing a player or two to suspension? Bring in a Belgian and/or a Scottish international to replace him/them. Tetty to miss Blackburn, play against the binners and pick up a yellow at the end of the game. Two games missed, against Wigan and Millwall, Tetty has a little break and recharged for the run in. Cynical? Maybe, but that is the way I''d should pan out. -
This site really is yesterday''s technology. My answer above is in the middle of the "quote" starting " what a ludicrous post". Edit button, Edit button, my sanity for an edit button.
