Umm he doesn''t. Are people that thick? -
Baffling transfer, we simply don''t need him. We need someone who can put the ball in the net. There is £8 million here that should have gone towards the money for McCormack
What a clown. How can you not need quality players. He can play central or wide, in a position we need strengthening, and would be an awesom signing. -
He would play left, a position where we are short. -
Can play from the left, will play left of the 3 in a 4231. -
Yeah he can fcuking leave, if a club pays the right money. £3-4m is insulting.£10-12m and we''ll consider it. -
ok saying that timmy but just say the player does not turn up for training etc and becomes more of a pain to the others in the squad is it worth it ? not saying olsson would do those things just a example ;-)
Then he can train with the youth team. -
Can someone enlighten me as to how he will be finding time for this show? Bearing in mind "celebrities" who appear on it always say they train full time. -
Not a chance of signing Assombalonga IMO. Can''t see Forest letting him go unless it''s silly money. -
£4-5m lol.And the guy from Al-Hilal. He''s only saying that because he''s good on Fifa 16. -
It was clear at the weekend that we would not ever get McCormack, and its why ive been saying since then City and Alex needed to absolutely start looking elsewhere right now...in fact Villa coming back and paying the going rate have done City a service, as i could have seen Alex and City fannying around with this saga for another week or two and still get nowhere. Alex clearly said after the Hannover match that City had bid what City think McCormacks worth and would not go any higher, but Fulham insisted on a full 15 mill package,so in effect since Saturday times been wasted messing around on this nonsense. But remember, Villa have come back in for McCormack because theyve had no luck finding a striker around the Champs, so you can tell City are going to find it very hard to get any new striker before the window closes unless they search the Prem, lower leagues or abroad. Forget Assambolonga at Forest, the suggestion there is of very slowly introducing hin to Champs action, could be 2 or 3 months before hes completely up to speed, never mind have full confidence that his new kneecap will hold up. Kodjia at Bristol? has a huge price tag, Bristol so intent keeping him may be more even than the 11-12 mill City seem to have for a striker. Wells at Huddersfield?..who knows what Alex even wants. All in all, considering last season we had 7 differnt strikers at varying stages, and the cry was to desperately thin them out, now the reverse is the case, we are down to Laffs and Camjam, and heck knows who City will find, if anyone at all.
Complete bollox. He put this on Twitter earlier:-"Pre season finally done & i am fit & sharp ready for the long season ahead!!"You don''t half talk some shoite on here. -
It''s simple. What we need to do is be awkward barstards like Fulham have been with McCormack.Yes he can go off to a PL side, if they pay what WE want. £10 million and not a penny under. If not, he will stay and see out his contract as a Norwich City player. -
That''s all ifs and buts though. We can''t carry on into the season with the striking options we have just hoping a PL side might just dispose of someone who we can snap up.Jerome as we all know if more than competent at this level. He needs help though, and if you have to allow for injury/suspensions/lack of form.Lafferty isn''t good enough plain and simple. Everyone with half a brain cell knows it. He wasn''t good enough for Birmingham last season, they soon realised it too. He wasn''t good enough for a poor Turkish side and he wasn''t good enough for NI, who quickly disposed of him for Washington. And Morris, with all respect to him, has only played youth football and SPL, which is on a par with League 1 and 2. -
Depends. In this hypothetical scenario, if we were to keep Brady, would we be getting another striker? If yes, then keep Brady. If no, then get McCormack. At the moment we are going into the season with Jerome, Lafferty and Morris. -
Olsson £10-12m +Brady £20-25m +We get the hard ball treatment whenever we try and sign someone so we need to do the same. -
Sorry but Newcastle do have a better squad. And they are adding to it with ease. They identify someone and go and sign them. -
Not a chance of us signing him now IMO. This ones dead.I would like to see us now pursue Assombalonga or Kodjia, but as its been suggested, it is getting late in the day for this. -
Are you happy with your teams new signing then OP?How have they been allowed to sign him? Must be breaking all sorts of FFP rules. -
Saw a rumour that West Ham were interested in Ings. You can forget about that, he won''t be dropping down into the Championship. -
Brady has a £20 million price tag. Burnley will not pay that. -
I think it''s all irrelevant because I can''t see us paying the £15m now being asked. -
He''s piling into anything that gets in his way.Just imagine they lose a couple on the spin in the league, with one or two debatable refereeing decisions, he''ll blow! -
Pretty much everywhere. -
Nuhiu? Wednesday fans hate him, and think he is garbage, which he is. If we went for him we may aswell all just give up now. -
Who would you suggest?
