Indeed, very encouraging.[;)] -
I''m not a Russell Martin fan, but as I read it, this thread was started to congratulate him on winning Norwich City’s PFA Community Champion of the Year award for 2016-17. For that I congratulate him unreservedly.Any criticism I may have of him and/or his fellow defenders are NOT for this thread.[:D] -
Patrick Bamford, prolific striker has scored in the Premier league ! question is will he ever get another ?
You could argue that it was only after his team was relegated![;)] -
Great letter hugely appreciated. Good luck Seb, thank you for everything. -

Who would you prefer OldRobert???
Probably Monk, but''s that''s at a push. Not overwhelmed by any of the names tbh.
So if it''s any of Rosler, Monk, Wagner, O''Neill or Hudson (have 1 missed any others who have been linked?) you will be whelmed or even underwhelmed? Just as a matter of interest then, who would leave you overwhelmed?
None of the above mate. Maybe Webber has a rabbit in his hat..........or not. -
Fair comment, there isn''t an abundance of available (or attainable) managers at our level.Frustrating isn''t it.
Just hope Webber gets it right. ''Night mate. -

If it did prove to be Rosler, I for one would be underwhelmed. -

My mum bashed her car into John Fananu''s car causing a bit of damage. He said ''don''t I earn enough and I have done it myself... I''ll sort" Not that an I dividual actually
He probably didn''t have insurance.
Well said TCC. Either that or it wasn''t his car.@Mike. What people don''t like about John was his attitude to his brother who looked after him when they were very young, then when older, and Justin had his troubles, he trashed him any way he could to avoid being associated with him. His own brother. John always fancied himself as Billy Big Bo$$ocks and has behaved like a flash yob for most of his adult life. You won''t find much in the way of good words for him on here. -
That didn''t work. Apologies all round. -
Rest In Peace Justin. -
Is the pope a bear? -
That''s one side of the story, some of us who were around at the time might well prefer to listen to Justin''s version, were that possible. -

The atmosphere in the seventies was excellent we were louder than most grounds ,then seats were put in and prices raised ,stopping many fans coming due to cost ,then the hotel wrecked the ground splitting the stands ,the atmosphere has been killed by outpricing the ordinary fan who would be more willing to sing and replacing them with a more reserved type fan .many people who used to go every week can''t afford the prices charged these days
Spot on....
Totally agree. The introduction of seats killed the atmosphere in football grounds up and down the country, and has continued to do so. -
Thanks for the link Tilly. A poignant read. -
Hardly big time is he, what a BSter. Always portrayed himself as a Big Time Charlie. All mouth. -
@old Robert Fuck me you took a bit of a leap there didn''t you?
Nah, I''m too old to take a leap! Might trip over me Thermos.[;)]@Rock the Boat Having paid double for my season ticket (if I was allowed one), not forgetting my medical insurance, no doubt I wouldn''t be allowed my own transport, so I''d have to depend on public transport (am I allowed on that, or do us oldies clutter that up as well?) to get to the ground. Oops, there isn''t any for the first 4 miles, never mind, let the old sod walk, then when I get there I''m not let in as I''m over 60/70 or I''ve got white hair. No CR isn''t a ''Rest Home for white-haired folks'' nor is it a playground for the ageist younger ''fan''. -
Rock the boatOne day you might live to be that white haired old boy who has supported NCFC for 60/70 years. Doubt it though eating all that crap hamburgers and curry chips, you''ll be lucky if you ever see Premiership football again. You obviously have something against the older generation. I am 80 go to Greens Gym every day and probably are fitter than the average curry/burger eater. Live and let live
Got a feeling he doesn''t want us to come out of our burrows at all Daly. Maybe we should give up our houses, cars etc., perhaps he wants us carted off to camps or something, where we won''t bother the ''younger generation''. Not sure, but I think someone did something like that before? -
We get Andy Hughes as manager.
That''s not funny![;)] -
Would prefer Monk to Rösler. -
Team to play Brighton: Ruddy, Pinto, Martin, Bennett, Dijks,
Dorrans, Howson, Naismith, Pritchard, Murphy, Oliveira.Subs: McGovern, Whittaker, Jerome, Hoolahan, Murphy, Tettey,
Maddison. -
I was in Monaco at the weekend, he was behind me in the ''new account'' queue at the bank.
Who signed the paperwork, him or his dog? -
I hope their pockets are deep................ -
@smoothYou were saying.............give one or two some game time from the bench and see what happens, that''s what has been said. Not your exaggeration of starting 5/6 etc. Twenty minutes here and there, amazing what can happen like Maddisons''s 13 minutes today, look what that will have done to his confidence. Nah, leave him on the bench or at home, much better for him.
