[quote user="Mister Chops"]Yes, I think blaming our defeat on the red card would be like saying Germany lost World War 2 because of their satchels.

I think there may be a stadium divide hear. Those who saw it from the Barclay end can''t deny he caught him and it looked bad, but there was no intent so i dont know which of the laws of the game he broke to be sent off.
The red card may have cost us a point, but certainly not a win. We would have been lucky to get a point from a strong saints team today -
Ole ole, ole ole, going up up up -
Today does not fizzle my optimism that we will finish at least 2nd. I will continue chanting ''we are going up'' until the worst happens and i think we are out of it. Can''t see that time coming
-
Forster 9 - couldnt have played much better against a strong attacking team
Rose - 4
Nelson - 5
Doc - 5.5
R Martin - 6
Lappin - 4.5
Smith - 5.5
Hoolahan - 6.5
Russell - 5
Holt - 5.5
Martin - 6.5 -
I had a very clear view from the snakepit:
Russell did put his foot very high and his studs did go into the Southampton player''s chest. However, he had absoultely no idea the player was even there and had he have not caught him he would not have even been punished with a free kick against him

Here''s where I admit to only having been a recently converted Norwich fan as I was totally overlooking his first spell at the club.
So new question... What Jamie Cureton will you remember? The young lad against Ipswich in the 90s or the struggling Jamie Cureton of recent years? -
I''m doing a little research into Jamie Cureton''s time at Norwich. Please could you take the time to answer the following questions.
What was Jamie Cureton''s finest performance in the Yellow and Green?
A. August 2007 v. Southampton - Two goals from Jamie secure a 2-1 win after Kenwyn Jones'' equaliser on his first home league appearance
B. March 2008 v. Colchester - Hat trick for Jamie helps towards a 5-1 trouncing
C. January 2009 v. Barnsley - Amongst the scorers as he returns from a loan spell at Barnsley to end his Norwich drought
D. Other (are there any others that stand out to you?)
Will Jamie Cureton ever play for Norwich again?
Hopefully these two questions can help guide a pretty reasonable debate on a player who no doubt ever lacked a goalscoring instinct, but has undoubtedly become only a shadow of his former self

Oldham''s Sean Gregan at Carrow Road -
Was he or was he not purchasing Hoola Hoops? -
All I can say is I did the crossbar challenge for fun, not for any prizes. Although that week the prize for hitting it 3 times was a season ticket so can hardly say it wouldnt have been worth it - but that kind of luck would be insane...

[quote user="Heresyourfathersgun"]Seems like a good post to join the forum after reading for years.
The link shows why we need more capacity if we can get it.............

The anomaly is somebody doesn''t know the figures which makes Cardiff look the best at filling their ground (the average attendance is higher than capacity!!). Infact, wherever you look for stats here, Norwich are top or close to.

Wow I had no idea Hull had such a good home following! -
Nobody else touched the ball in between Hoolahan''s first strike and his second touch. Therefore he touched the ball twice. Good decision all be it a bizarre situation that I have never seen before -
Give them Theoklitis on a free, a christmas present from us to them -
For me the impressive displays came from Dario Dumic and a subs performance from Matthew Ball. We all know what Cody etc are made of, but these guys showed what they can do
-
Bring on Cody to get a few goals, if anyone is used to slaughtering this quality of opponent it''s him!
-
I saw Brian Capron, played Richard Hillman in Corrie, just off Unthank Road this wednesday. Unrelated to football but I havent ever seen any Norwich players out and about so this will have to do. I was once stuck in a motorway jam alongside Ashley Cole though...
-
Rose Tavern probably -
I''m sure Lambert would not be foolish enough to name a bench without a goalkeeper on it, it just tempts fate. However, I dont think Theo will be first in his mind. If its too late to get someone in, or no youngsters are ready, I think it may be time to register Paul Crichton up so that he can provide some form of experienced cover should he be needed. -
I sit in the snakepit, and i for one promise to join you in this epic chant. Although it was quite funny watching you go it alone on saturday! -
Some of these ratings are bizarre. Declan Rudd could not have played better yesterday and yet gets a 6 from some people... -
There isn''t even a debate as far as I''m concerned, Declan Rudd has the gloves and they are his to lose after Tuesday''s match
-
He scored a goal,
He scored a goal or two.
He''s not that scummy blue.
He is all Yellow
I will now hide from the inevitable ''get back to the day job'' comments beneath -
