I see the Stone Age massive are celebrating their St Gammon’s day.

At least they are elected. Here’s a better option - axe them all and put the homeless in all of their stately homes. The royals are freeloading parasites they we need to be rid of.

Forest may have been better to let the dust settle before sending that (assuming it was cleared by their comms team) as I expect the Premier League and FA will charge them for those comments and citing Atwell as having a bias. However, they do have a point about the accuracy of decision making and who is getting the benefit from them. There is no accountability or scrutiny of errors that can cost clubs and this is something that the regulator needs to have powers to address. Demoting referees that make errors to VAR or lower decisions isn't the answer.

Atwell has been a liability for yonks - that ghost goal he gave to Reading against Watford shows the level of his ineptitude.

I don't agree with giving it a Champions League place as that should be just for the winners across all of Europe's league and not for second to fourth placed clubs in certain leagues. However, it would be funny is a team outside the PL one the FA Cup then got into it.

The other way to look at is if Saints rest/rotate players in advance of the playoffs and gift points to Leicester and Leeds which would put pressure on the binners. Equally, next week's Huddersfield v B'ham game is going to be huge and both of them are probably going to need something from their final games.

I have pretty much zero interest in it. They have drained the competition of any importance by taking out replays, scheduling it to fit in with the Premier League and UEFA competitions which mean it is no longer the showpiece final game of the season. I was in the Lion & Castle post match and saw it was on the screens but had no interest in the game. The top six PL clubs have big enough squads to meet with the demands of the competitions they are in. If they don't like it then don't enter it.

Southampton win for me - they play three times before the binners next play. They still have Leicester and Leeds to play so are just about in the conversation for the automatic places.

Good to see NRK’s Wisting series 3 started and is shown on BBC4. Nordic Noir series are always good to watch.

Its an FYI that Hull play Coventry and perhaps more interesting for us Southampton still have to play Leicester which looked like a dead rubber a few weeks ago but now could draw Southampton right back into the automatic promotion picture.
Southampton also play 3 times before the binners and 7/9 points from those games would see them back in the mix

The new deal: https://www.skysports.com/football/news/21564/12873679/sky-sports-agrees-new-five-year-efl-deal-over-1000-matches-per-season will see 5 televised fixtures every round so I think the days of Saturday 1500's will dwindle further.

The other point was the adding of time, where he pointed to his watch several times when Argyle were clearly slowing things down. Although we'd got in front towards the end of the match, those 7 minutes gave Argyle the chance to rescue a point but we handled it better than we had done in the past.

I was fascinated by one wrestler in particular called Kendo Nagasaki, who always fought with a mask which he never took off . He had a samurai honour theme, throwing salt around the ring before fighting, and had sworn only to take the mask off when he lost. There’s a good Arena on iPlayer about Peter Blake painting his portrait.
So when I heard Stuart Maconie play a band called Kendo Nagasaki, I really wanted to like it, which I did, they remind me a bit of The Comet is Coming. When I found out what instruments comprise the band, I liked them even more. Have a listen and try to guess.

Yep that sums the royals up nicely.
