1. Hopefully he will come back from his loan at the end of the season a more experienced and matured player, which in fairness is the reason he was sent out on loan. Bringing him back now to sit on the bench and cover injuries probably wouldn''t be the best idea in the long term for both us and him. Let him get his apprenticeship in the lower leagues for a season then he can come back and show us what he can do, hopefully he will have improved enough to make the step up.

Agree we can''t keep changing our manager, I hate it, but lets be realistic, its not working with Roeder, way to many inept decisions and we look like we face a big stuggle to stay up!

Look at the performance of Russell today. The guy has a lot of affinity with our club and is renowned for his highly competitive and physical play but he didn''t look interested!

My expectations are certainly not deluded when it comes to Norwich City. I think that the club has the potential to be a top 10 Premiership club but I certainly don''t expect things to happen overnight. What I did expect this season was an improvement on last season, a mid table season where we wern''t looking over our shoulders at the drop and an indication that something was being built that would provide us with an excellent foundation on which will slowly but surely get back to being a side competing in the top 10 of the Championship and a regular top flight club. - This is so obviously not happening!

If your happy with the way we''re going under Roeder and having to watch totally inept performances like todays against a very poor Forest side then your very easily pleased and won''t mind seeing the club in the 3rd flight for the 1st time in nearly 49 years!
Sorry but how do you figure we have the potential to be a top 10 prem club???    Because we have 24k plus fans at each home game? Thats the only thing I can think of. But you need to consider that crowd sizes don''t mean we deserve success look at Newcastle, Leicester and Leeds. And Polar I completely agree great post.

  3. In fairness Lupoli was brought in to bolster the squad, hes a squad player thats it why he doesn''t play that often but it still necessary to have him just in case. And people keep going on about the Reading game where Roeder played Russell upfront on his own instead of Lupoli, my friends and I discussed this at the time and personally I believed this was the correct thing to do, we were playing the club which has scored the most goals at home in the division so we needed an outlet that could hold the ball up when we were under pressure and no one can say Lupoli could have done that job.

  4.
Seems very lazy to me - good delivery but too slow and offers nothing much else. Would be ideal if we played American Football and could wheel a kicker out just for free kicks, but guess what, we don''t!

Must be the easiest winger to defend to in the league - would be confident of doing the job myself! Has to cut inside onto his right 90% of the time, and not got the pace to take any defender on really.

Agree, always liked Lappin myself, and not sure what Bell offers that he doesn''t. Good delivery, and have to say I''m a fan of a left footed player on the left etc.
Hahahahaha, Whatever Mate....  How can people critise a player that has only played 13 or so games for us and still settling in at our club? He has something about him that indicates hes a class player and just needs to be more consistent but has the potential to get better, people just need to realise they he''s a completely different player to Huckerby as is Wesley.    To say he is the easiest winger to defend against in this league is ridiculous! David Bell is a right winger playing on the left because of the Lee Croft''s form at the moment and the fact that hes playing on the left ahead of Lappin is an indication of how poor Lappin is in my eyes.

Which side would you rather be at the moment?

Forrest - struggling at the bottom of the league, playing some nice football with a good flurry of young/academy players who will be learning thier trade for the future of the club.

    Or us

Norwich - Ditto but blooding other teams youngesters for the future of ... well not us?

I feel this is not an unfair comparison.

    I''d prefer the Forest way
Before I make my decision The Great Drinkell how many players are Forest Actually blooding from their academy?  Because from what  I remember they''ve spent quite abit on bringing players to their club in past few seasons and especially in the summer so can''t imagine there are that many.

The same Roy Keane who took over Sunderland when they were right at the bottom of the Championship, and has turned them into a Premiership side!?!?! - Yeah - such a crazy idea!

Let''s stick with Glenn, and his terrific man management temperament.
Yeh but look how much he spent to get them promoted, plus how much has he spent this season to get Sunderland into the bottom three?

  7. Stop going on about Simon Lappin if he was good enough & trained as well as people keep speculating he has then he would be in the team! Glenn wants to prove us wrong and show us how good a manager he is by winning games if he thought Lappin could help us win games he would be in the team! Oh We Want Worthy Back and Cesc stop going on about stuff going on at colney because its aload of bullsh*t and you know it is your just using it as stick to beat Roeder with.

The thing that strikes me most about Leroy is that he seems to be getting worse each game he plays. That got me thinking about other players over the last year. How many other players appear to be worse players than they were?

Seems to me that Roeder seems to be able to take a decent player and coach any skill he has out of him.
It''s not Roeder, it seems like we as a club have been doing that to players for the last couple of years (possibly more) Peter Thorne, Jason Jarret, Andy Hughes, Thomas Helveg, Mattias Jonson, David Bently, Jamie Cureton (1st and 2nd time around), Dean Marney, Ryan Bertrand (this season) etc the list goes on.... highly rated players that either never performed for us or very rarely did/have.

  9. I have to disagree Fabregas, Swansea''s midfield is one of the best in the championship at passing and keeping the ball espesially with a two goal lead, they were very comfortable on the ball if we had put doc upfront with 15 mins to go i very much doubt the score would have as low as 4-2 they would have passed the ball straight through us. Everytime we went forward they were causing us problems on the counter even with men at the back..... but I do have to agree with you about changing Bell and Hoolahan it just didn''t work.

  10.
What is the point of canary call. Neil Adams agrees with every point people raise. No matter how contradictory he always ''agrees in part''. There should be a more controversial host (Adrian Durham type). He says what he thinks and doesn''t take any rubbish.
100% agree, Adrian Durham is ledge.
