  1. Gazza, could this be the day when you''re kicked out for persistent standing and you miss out on a glorious victory? Remember the stewards are only doing their jobs and if you really want to see parts of the gorund closed (as threatened by the Council NOT NCFC!!) then keep standing, else do as you are asked.

  2. I agree…selling out Carrow Road for the presentation of the trophy, would be great!
It would make it an even more amazing day! I suggest we contact the club with ideas, because the current plans seem to be strange, to say the least.
Anybody else agree with Scott’s ideas? If so, let the club know.

  3. if it wasn’t for the signings, both permanent and loans we have made this season!
Obviously some were better than others…Elvis Hammond didn’t exactly set the division on fire…although I think I read somewhere that the EDP got an award for most comical headline, “Elvis lives, and he’s signed for Norwich”, so he was obviously worth it!!
If my memory serves me correctly, Norwich were in 14 place when Mr Huckerby and co. first joined on loan, and look were we are now.
I believe that without these signings our beloved team would be sitting around mid-table, without a chance of even the playoffs.

But never mind we did get them…and we are top of the league…and we will win it!

    Anybody else agree/disagree?!?

  4. So lets say we are playing Premiership football next season, I’m sure most of you would agree that staying there would be an achievement…but imagine this:
We start really well in the Premiership, by Christmas we are in the top four, and go on a really good run. With nine games left, we are within the champions league places, with 9 points between us and the team below. Then we start losing a couple of games, tell me, would you be slagging off the team, saying that anything out of the Champions League places is failing, when at the beginning of the season you would have been over the moon with just staying above the relegation places?

The team have already excelled themselves this season, lets show them some of the respect they deserve, and let them concentrate on doing the rest.

  5. Just to clarify…I’m as anxious as anybody about the final 9 games!

Although I was thinking, if somebody had of told me at the beginning of the season, that we would be top of the league with 9 games left, I would have snapped there arm off! In fact…as I am sure 99.9% of you would…I would have taken the playoffs at the beginning of it all.
We need to just grind a few more results out between now and the end, and with people getting fed up (because we’ve lost 2 game in the last couple of weeks)it’s not helping!
So, instead of moaning about the lads not pulling results together, lets just get behind the team…and give them the final push they need for the Premiership!

WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE! Lets make sure we stay there!

  6. I would like to know your opinions on this matter. After Drury getting injured and young Jason Shackell being given his chance, I really think he would be a good asset to the team week in week out. I would love to see us try playing a 5-4-1 formation, with the team lining up something like this:

    Green
    Edworthy Fleming Makay Drury
    Shackell
    McVeigh Holt Francis Brennan
    Huckerby

One thing I’ve noticed about Shackell is, he like to get the ball forward, rather than playing it across the back line.
Just an idea, let me know your thoughts!?!

  7. The people you mentioned in yellow jackets are car park attendents, who when the game starts are allowed access into the stadium to watch the game. Can''t comment on why there are so many empty seats...might be worth contacting the club to see if they can shed some light on the matter.

  8. Couldn''t agree any more. Right he should never have been using his phone in the first place (our top man could have been injured!) but, what the hell does it have to do with the papers? Everybody learns from their mistakes, without having their name and picture appearing in the paper. Lets just hope no more is said about the matter and let him get on with his job...winning us the title!

  9. Inside rumours say that there will be a Darkness gig at Carrow Road. If all goes to plan, it will go ahead at close of season before they start work on the new pitch! The only thing that has to be finalised is money. Wouldn''t it be great....while we''re singing; "I believe in a thing called HUCKS!" Elton will be singing; "PLEASE! Someone save my life tonight" at portman road

    Ummmmm...Which would you rather?!?

  10. Being a steward myself, I can assure you that we all do the best we can to keep situations like this to a minimum. Unfortunately, there was a crowd of over 24,000 on Saturday and only 250 or so stewards. With this being the case, it does help when supporters come and have a quiet word to point out potential troublemakers! If this situation arises again, contact the nearest steward and just mention the fact that something is going on.

Regarding your comment about stewards only appearing when something kicks off on the pitch, there are obviously different stewards for different areas, and although everyone is important, the stewards in the tunnel have to be much more alert, because things can get pretty heated down there! Just take a look at the back page of tonight’s evening news.
