You missed first-half stoppage time because you went for a pint, you big hypocrite 😉

But yeah, plenty of casual 'fans' around us who were more interesting in farting about on their mobiles or talking non-football-related bobbins.

Sorry for going a whole minute early! Absolute plastic

My main point though, was that the booing, at the end.. for which I stayed, was majority adults. Blaming kids seems a but unfair and inaccurate.

Not according to the ground plan as of right now and availability is good everywhere except for the two blocks behind the dug outs. Block A of the Barclay is literally half empty and Block O of the South Stand plus two blocks either end of the Regency are i would suggest more than half empty.

Don't get your haters remark either on a thread about ticket sales.

Sorry, there is a lot of hate for the club right now... and many negative comments about the ticket sales being poor - and I feel some of them are from what I refer to as haters of the club. Sorry if it was a little strong

  3. Just thought it might be a good idea to start one specific thread where all the endless haters who can't acknowledge a single positive thing can churn out the same stuff over and over again.

Its fine to have your opinions - free speech and all that.

Its getting extremely embarrassing seeing a new thread pop up that covers the same content over and over and over in a slightly different but wholly negative and tiresome (for some) but in a slightly different but one sided way - 10 minutes after the last.

Fill your boots, let it out, just please don't start a new thread so the usual 5 or 6 people peddling the same anti-webber, anti- Delia, anti-everything rhetoric. The hate is probably valid - but 10 posts a day is bringing out the yawns.

    Go!

Pretty much true - it’s hard to say quite why it is, but there is definitely a sense of entitlement.  It isn’t just Wagner or Smith, it was there under Farke’s last games.  It still seems to be a post-covid hangover among the crowd, that we’ve been unable to shake off.

You're spot on. As I just said, as soon as we conceded the Snakepit started singing "Wagner your football is sh*t"

Either have the balls to do it before we concede, or keep quiet. Don't wait for a singular goal. And of course they sing it again and we score a well worked goal and they suddenly stop again.

They're so flip-flop based purely on result, as you say. I'd respect an actual prolonged anti Wagner campaign as at least the consistency would show some backbone to their calls. As it is they look far more stupid than Wagner himself.

Hard agree. Fans wanted us to fail from the off.

Fans in lower barclay near me effing and jeffing about Wagner when it was the players pissing about and playing poorly first 15 mins.

The snakepit spend most games when we play well taking the **** out of the Barclay anyway

Booed Idah when he came on.

It's 'flat' when we play better but aren't two goals up.

There's a massive massive sense of entitlement and makes being in the crowd a pretty negative experience to be honest. We've never been an Anfield a Villa Park or any other loud type of atmospheric ground.

Our Fans and crowd have been like this through Wagner, Smith and massive parts of Farkes reign. Lambert era aside we had the same issues with the Alex Neil and Hughton reign too. Our Fans can't wait to moan and only sing consistently when we're winning comfortably and at the top of the league.

I go and enjoy it because my mates are there, but I witness a serious case of angry negative men looking like entitled babies so much of the time.

If anything it's the River End though who make pretty much zero noise regardless, has anything ever been done to promote the idea of some positive noise down there?

How long will the 80%s be able to keep their dirty little secret?

I think its more that the 80% don't think it's all quite as and as the 20% despite feeling unhappy in some ways. The 20% just can't accept anything positive in most cases so feel they need to impress their full blown negativity onto others.

Like, I am looking forward to Delia going. I'm looking forward to a new manager soon too.

I don't feel it necessary to try and bad mouth every aspect of our fine to club to all and sundry because I'm unhappy with a few key parts that will be gone in good time anyway.

  6. To be fair, I dont think it's much of a secret at all. It's mentioned in our live streamed games on Sky, it's referenced in highlights, in national newspaper.

It's also not as bad as some clubs either so isn't actually major news

Most stuff I do hear in those spaces also manages to acknowledge that we have things to be excited by such as Attanasio, Knapoer etc.

I supposed it depends if you're a cup half full or empty type. It's hardly terminal right now

I mean, what was she thinking of leaving the top scorer warming the bench. Then bringing in Gibson who is the worst defender in the league. As soon as the team sheet was released (what a waste of good quality paper that was) we knew there was no chance of a clean sheet and Gibson soon duly obliged. Surely Kenny as a makeshift defender would have been a better option. Anyone but Gibson. Is there something going on between Delia and Gibson that he has to be selected?

Then we have this continuing farce of playing Sara out of position when he should be playing further forward. Why can't she see what everyone else sees game in and game out?

Then there's the continuing absence of clean sheets that has been going on for donkeys years. There is an old saying: if you can't win, make sure you don't lose. But this is completely lost on anyone connected with the club. Delia can't kick the ball in the goal, but is so charitable in letting the opposition do so. I've seen her. She sits in the stand and lets them score. Over and over and over again. Southampton is now shaping up to be the worst home defeat since Colchester.

This is more like it. Purely to blame she is!

Let's throw beer cans at her car!

Sing a nasty song about her!

She mustn't get away with Stacey having a poor game! She must not understand any circumstance be allowed to get away everything that is wrong with our club

    Leave now, cook!

    LOL

I'm not sure 'the little old lady' will appreciate that, but it’s interesting that Attanasio is expected to learn so much from her.

    Well its true isn't it?

Tell me what it achieves right now? I feel anger can be aimed much more affectively in other areas. Not saying don't be angry, I'm just genuinely looking for some feedback on what giving her **** achieves?

Does anyone actually believe she'll suddenly just give it all up and walk away?

The one last great thing Webber did was give a good account of some of the fan personality issues.

    Another guard of honour incoming

Why though is a problem that people have respect for Delia though?

Yes anyone with sense knows she needs to go.

She's done more for this club the last 25 years than any poster has on here has and certainly more good than harm.

Abusing her litterally achieves nothing. She's not going anywhere until the planned business is done. That time will come and it'll be a more prosperous one I'm sure.

The amount of hatred and anger that gets stirred up by the little old lady is actually quite bizarre.

He's been in the job six weeks, for ****s sake.

Honestly, I've started to laugh at rather than get mad about this kinds of troll posts.

I wonder if people who think or post like the OP have considered if they had those expectations of complete transformation and exceeding expectations 6 weeks after starting their job.

Its just dramatic emotionally challenged rubbish.

I'm not even thinking about Knapper until the end of the next transfer window. Anyone who does is an absolute sausage
