1. Are you going to take up financing the club to keep it from going to the wall? No? Thought not .  Please stop this silly sack the board / board (trout) out stuff. We would all like to see new owners / money but until then WE HAVE NO CHOICE but to go with what we have as they are still (just about) able to finance the club enough to keep it afloat.

Next they''ll be interviewing Ian Holloway....
Pete!!  Is that true??
Good God no. At least I hope not.
I  knew you were joking but quite frankly after today anything is possible. Tomorrows press conference should be interesting. If they are willing to explain of course!

  3.   Speaking of Muppets , how do you propose we sack the board.  Oh Joy I can just see the conversation :-  Delia (to herself):- You are sacked! , Delia (to herself) :- you cant fire me , I quit! . Doomcaster (to Delia) You can''t sack her she owns the damm club!! Delia (to doomcaster) She didn''t sack me i quit!!.      Chr*st, I thought they were confused before this all started!

  4.   Although I doubt if they will do it, I think an explaination from the board is required as to what they are / were thinking regarding Worthy . IF and its a big IF there were plans to bring in a younger man A.B ? to work alongside a "Part time" short term expeienced Worthington then fair enough. BUT if they wanted him full time then they have a hell of a lot of explaining to do. SOON would be really good

  5. I Agree it has not been good, but, how the hell will playing musical chairs with the management change anything? This club can not afford to pay him off and can not afford to pay compensation to another club for their manager. If we do have to pay it will (probably) put us into administration which will take years to recover from (Look at Leeds) . Like it or not we will have to wait until the end of the season and then sort it out. Oh yes and on what basis is this thread "Official"?

  6. Speaking to the EDP, Mr Cullum said the financial outlook meant he could not put his hand in his pocket to bail out the Canaries.

He said: “The credit crunch is going to be hurting people, so suddenly investing in a football club is quite unlikely for many people - especially if you look at the numbers.

“If you did that, you would be seriously worried. You haven''t got to be much of a mathematician to work out that many football clubs are in trouble.

“Every business is being seriously hit by what''s going on in the wider economic environment. My business is no different. We are all under the cosh. And we can only guess what 2009 will hold.”

He said the economic situation had changed “significantly” since he made his offer at the end of 2007 to hand over £20m for new players in exchange for control of the club.

So is he saying that if he had invested in city his business would have been even more "under the cosh"??

I was on here at 3.30 this afternoon, celebrating a fine City win, a win that I''ve wanted and predicted all week, no, I''m not holding my breath for an apology from mighty yellow & norfolk n gud.

Just check your ruddy facts next time!.[:|]

Remember when the Smiths took over they said the man who ran the club from then on would not be on the board! With Mr Doncaster sitting on the board I wonder what happened to that promise?

    FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
They also said no one person would ever have a majority controlling shareholding - and hey presto look who has a 60%+ shareholding now .....
I don''t remember either of those things being said. I remember Delia saying something like one person should never make all the decisions again when she was referring to what she saw as Chase''s "all singing - all dancing" way of running the club. Chase made all the decisions even though he wasn''t a majority shareholder and I still wonder to this day how he wasn''t challenged before he was. I guess that''s because he had very strong leadership qualities and that''s strange because that must have caused a lot of our problems back then and yet the lack of it is perceived to cause a lot of our problems now. I believe Chase''s approach was the reason why this board put their "team" in place. Trouble is I think the "team" approach is flawed because it causes conflict within the club. Much like Chase''s approach often caused conflict within the club. If this post seems confused it probably is because I don''t have the answers unlike some of the posters on here. But I have as many questions as most of them. The best reason I have seen for a change in the board is because it''s due. As with governments, in the end we get bored with them and crave for something different. But for that to happen someone has to want to buy the current lot out and want to own and finance Norwich City Football Club. As much as I love the club I would always want to be a fan and not an owner. Delia is both and hand on heart I feel sorry for her now. Until she is gone she will be the victim of abuse and attacked with untruths and half truths. She doesn''t deserve it but it goes with the territory I guess.

Anyway - I would be interested in a link or a source where these things were said.
Now then, you can''t go around asking for facts!!  It gets in the way of a good argument.  I agree its probably time for a change, but who is going to take up the challenge? I have a horrible feeling that we will have to wait until this club is on ite knees before anyone makes a (reduced offer) move for the club. Until then It''d down to the present owners to keep putting in their hard earned cash with a high risk that they will only get part of it back.

  9.
Cullum for heavens sake, when will people learn his real name?!!

No-one knows with who, and it would be pretty stupid of the club if they were not always actively seeking investment, so I am sure deals have been talked about for a long time.
OOP''s  I do know his name  but its been a long day and i did not get to bed until well after the transfer deadline!!    Its Cullum ,  see? silly old me hey?/  ( i''m raving a bit now, its my age you see?  Culumb or something like that i think!)Stick out tongue [:P]Wink [;)]

  10. If , and i still think its a big if! If we are "in negotiation" with one or more potential investors, negotiations could take several weeks or even months. If it is just a replacement for what the Turners have failed to bring to the party       (£2 mil) then it might not take too long. If it is P. Cullen or someone else looking to stage a take over then it could easily be next year before it all falls into place. This could be a pretty uncumfortable few months.  Anyway did the negotiations start when the Turners went? If not how long and with who??
