He will get the nod regardless of our wishes, Delia and her fellow bloody idiots will to that, so much for him walking if he fails.
I''ll back him, but he''s clearly way out of his depths now!
He''s winning us points. Draws albeit when we need wins, but he''s doing no worst than Roeder
I think he has improved things but, there is very little time left to get us winning instead of drawing games, What amazes me is that people keep saying he is out of his depth, He has Crook (who many people would have been happy to see as Manager ,and he has Butterworth who has been involved in succesfull teams as assistant manager. As long as he takes on board their advice I do not believe he is a weakness at the club -
Preston have only signed him for One month, If that is all Stoke would agree to then he was no good to us. As usul the press are making into a big headline disaster but as i say One month ain''t much cop. -

Is that a 15 point penalty when it happens? I guess they need to decide whether they want to get relegated this season, or try and stay up then go down next? Neither are very attractive.
If it were Norwich in that situation *shudder* what would people opt for?
I have seen ;some posts on here saying it might be good for City if it were to happen1 My feeling is that this board (like it or not) have probably done enough to stave of that possibility, (thank God). We might not like their carefull aproach from a football point of veiw but from a business point of veiw it works -
If they can put it off until the end of the season it will not help us at all. I would guess they will try to do that so they are still in this division next season. Financialy that makes more sense. BUT they may not be able to survive until then. I have a horrible feeling they may not be the last. -

If by disapeared into thin air you mean creative accountancy then please pass your evidence onto the police. If not then it has not "disapeared" it has all been accounted for. Also, it might have escaped your notice but spurs have spent money to bring back three players the previous management sold.. all we have done is borrowed one!! Do cheer up, please
Had we had sold Shackell for £19m and bought him back for £12m I wouldnt need cheering up would I you simple minded toss pot. Money that is not invested into a team we can call our own might as well dissapear into thin air imo because that is the only way we will progress as a club. Norwich City FC appear to be the only club in League football who fail to realise this. And as for ''creative accountancy'' - If you believe the control of the club accounts is creative you must be either metally challenged or just not have the ability to grasp simple mathermatics. Either way your attitude stinks.
I did not call you names and i can see no reson for you to talk to me in that way , I am sorry if you did not like my post, but within certain rules this is free country. (down right rudeness is i feel against the rules) I agree Taking a player on loan that we sold a few months ago is not the best, but, i feel shacks is quite able to do a job for the team,(My Opinion) Sorry if my opinion offended you. That was a quite unnecessary post, and only adds to the deteriorating state on these forums (or so some believe). Please keep your posts clean in the future, remember children do read these forums too.
Thanks for that mate -

As the fitness test was carried out By the Irish medical staff it probably is legit.
-
Norwich City''s Sammy Clingan has been ruled out of Northern Ireland''s World Cup qualifier against San Marino.
Clingan had been expected to start on Wednesday despite missing
Monday''s training because of a thigh strain but he failed a fitnesstest on Tuesday.Great! Another International , another injury!!

Its a shame that a player who wants to come here and help save the club from relegation is being slated and demonised by some on here , Personaly I have no problem with the lad comong back, He was always a brave centre back and quite frankly he IS better than most of what we have at the momen. Please, everyone give the lad a chance. -
So, To all the people who are upset, angry or as on another thread ASHAMED!! to see Shacks back, Just one question, what will you do when he runs out on the pitch, Cheer him as any player in yellow and Green should be? Or start chanting you don''t know what you''re doing at Gunn? -
Opens today ( I think) Will we be going back to stoke? -
Well done the lad''s . Man city Next!! The holders? Easy!! -
Goals scored Goals Conceeded Wolves 63 Charleton 55 Reading 58 Watford 53 PNE 43 N.C.F.C. 49 Burnley 43 Swansea 43 N.C.F.C. 42 Now, If Ian Butterworth can get to grips with reorganising the defence we might just get out of this mess! Como on you Yellows!! -
decision before 2pm -
i think now the transfer windows over and he won`t have to spend millions on players he might come back and take over , he`s really shrewd is that bloke and just biding his time [;)]
OH, FOR GOD''S SAKE GO AWAY!! -
Credit to the board?! Who''s fault is it that we have financial constraints?!
Let me think!! um, Gordon Brown , The British economy, The American Economy , The way Football is ran in this country , The Tax man , The High cost of getting average player nowerdays , The fact that The club are not willing to charge higher admission and , probably several other factors -
When should people start believing that Gunn might just be good enough to do the Job ( and I do not mean until Bothroyd takes over ) Three games unbeaten, Team now scoring goals and now he seems to be bringing in some more than adequet bodies in the transfer window. -
I have a feeling there will not be many matches played in the next couple of day''s -
All managers were inexperienced once. -
I really hope its Gunny , Maybe with ian Culverhouse alongside him -
Ian Butterworth, Currently asistant Manager at Hartlepool. I had not realised he had been about @ lower level management and abroad. apparently highly Qualified as well!! -
Question, IF Gunny was given the job until the end of the season would people on this board give him the backing he will need to keep us up or will it all go into a downward spiral of " board out , cheap option, Gunny out, not renewing my ticket " etc? I only ask because it might happen.!! -
I was amazed how openly critical Doncaster was of Roeder and his attitude to the fans. It seems to me that this played a big part in the decision to sack him , He also said that the next manager MUST understand how importand it is to be able to comunicate with the people. There was no CONFIDENCE that anything was going to change in the next match so he had to go. Tough talking from what is usualy a very conservative guy!
this what was said :-Revealing why the decision to fire Roeder was made, the Norwich Citychief executive pointed to a lack of respect from the manager towardssupporters.Doncaster conceded that Canaries followers foundRoeder ''arrogant, rude and dismissive'' and felt his replacement willneed to understand the Norfolk way of life.“One of the keypriorities for the manager is that he understands the importance of therelationship between the club and its supporters and shows them therespect that they deserve,” said Doncaster.“We received anumber of communications from supporters which suggested that theyfound Glenn arrogant and rude and possibly dismissive of their opinions. “For many, many supporters they expressed to us their view that they did find Glenn''s attitude a concern.” -

The presenter on Sky sports was full of praise for both the "amazing" turn out and the loyalty of the city fans (17k plus season tickets already) He made a comment two or three times
