]Good to see the usual idiots out already, revelling in the fact we are losing. - mortyNobody is revelling. You''ve got Hughton so far up your backside you can''t see how upset the Hughton outters are. -
On the plus side, the last 4 games we looked good. -
He''s been abused on here for the last 2 months. Maybe he had an eff you attitude, but he''s playing well. Now Bassong is a train wreck today. -
Says the guy whose user name and avatar are salutes to American icons. No, we''re not self-centered. You''re blessed with us. -
Herman, you are correct. They only work on the weak-minded, not on Americans. Is Pardew American? -
The West Ham game too? -
Nuff said, as soon as I heard of those court-assigned classes for anger management or sensitivity or whatnot, I had doubts. Over the years I have heard from plenty of people who went to them, and they all said the same thing. The classes are a waste of time and all the do is make money for the companies that have the contracts to deliver them. Only the weakest minds would be influenced by them. I haven''t been involved in trench warfare, either, but I do know it''s a miserable way to spend time. Any other silly questions. NS?Uh oh, are you gonna say you took one of those classes and it changed your life? -
Those courses are nonsense. -
To put it another way, what happened was unusual but not devastating. So talk about it, sure, but stop pretending that this is a sign of the 4 Horsemen. -
The ones whining about role models and the sanctity of the game, and how he should be fired as if he''d committed murder. I dont think children will turn to drugs or gangs because of this. Besides, if a football manager is your child''s role model, you suck as a parent. He''s been fined by the team and will catch helll from the FA so the sport will survive. Lighten up, Francis. -
At least for a while, we have something else to wet our pants over. At least for those overly concerned about a moment of stupidity. -
Makes good sense although not sure about dropping RVW if that''s what your suggesting. He did very well Sunday. We played great at WH apart from the regrettable substitutions late in the game, so there''s no reason we can''t do that at Villa. -
I love that word; plonker. And very appropriately used, ibdw. Oedipus Plonker really messed that one up. -
Thanks for the clarification, MancC. I do agree the long range computer generated predictions are pointless. I originally thought you were downplaying the light-hearted weekly ones by fans, and too bad for ELFIN John, there seem to be plenty of people like me who made the same conclusion and agreed with my take. Hairy, to each his own, but I don''t think my original post gave anyindication of me saying I''m superior. -
I dont get a warm fuzzy feeling when I predict a loss and it happens. Who does? -
Im not personally offended, ManC, but to be critical of people having a little harmless fun seems pointlessly mean spirited. Why do we support Norwich, watch Coronation Street, wear funny t-shirts, or sit on a park bench? They''re all as pointless as making score predictions and only achieve making us enjoy life a bit more. Hairy Twuntnary, care to clarify with an example? It might be a little pointless fun to do so, and you won''t look like such a dork if you do so, but what good would that do? -
MancC, your last sentence answers your title question, making this thread pointless. Well done trying to be superior and ending up looking like a clown. -
You''ve gone overboard, Chip. If spending money doesn''t guarantee success, why do people keep saying we shouldn''t expect to be a top 6 club? And no, clubs can''t improve forever, but we haven''t even maintained in a season that was chock full of promise and expectations when it began. With all the new talent, our goal wasn''t to finish barely above relegation. -
You didnt say it had to be by your standard in the op. -
Our last 4 games prove writing off the final 4 games as automatic losses is pure folly. -
I think it''s pretty safe to say issue at Cardiff can''t be solved by any manager. -
Nobody who''s a fan gloats over a loss. That''s where you guys attacking SC''s comments are way off base. He''s obviously very passionate about the team and has made it clear on many occasions he doesn''t take any satisfaction from losses. Likewise myself, although most of the criticism directed at me (which isnt a lot) is usually geography and ignorance based. And political. But anyways, if your gloating at either of us, you''re barking up the wrong tree. I would love for CH to succeed at Norwich. But the last 18 months have made that look unlikely, although subs at West Ham aside, we do seem to have turned a big corner these last 4 games. -
Whoops. Should be there''ll be. And some clapping to make it more rhythmically tribal. -
I took issue with you claiming this as your own version so had a light-hearted dig at you for that. Sorry if I touched a nerve. It''s all in fun. Here''s mine. to ridicule, from an obscure but very catchy song called Moments Like This by Aerial. Moments like this, we''re off to a good startMoments like this are closer to my heartMoments like this, they''ll be more moments like this. .
