Well, speculation about transfers, ins and outs, is 50% of being a football fan. And I''m sure you can understand why people aren''t exactly optimistic - when was the last transfer window when we pulled something out of the bag? 2003, probably. And when have we needed strengthening more than now? Maybe 1997-8, but our current squad (permanent players, not the loans) is paper-thin.We could stick our heads in the sand, of course, and pretend everything''s wonderful, but some of us don''t go to bed every night cuddling our Doncaster dolly. -

Rest Dublin and Evans.90 minutes for Martin and Jarvis, whoever doesn''t score gets sold off.Give Gilks a game in goal. 90 minutes for Huckerby and Cureton as match practice. Fotheringham one half only; have a look at Cave-Brown at the back. -
In the nicest possible way, you''re either twelve years old or have at some point sustained a head injury. -
People on Canary Call always say we''ll reach the Play-off''s everytime we win a game. If we can just keep relegation at bay that''ll do me fine this season.
Exactly.(And when Norwich lose)Hello, Canary Call."Hi there - I just want to say it''s disgusting how Norwich are playing. No pride, no passion, what''s the manager doing? It''s disgraceful. I''ve been a season ticket holder for eight hundred years and this is the worst team I ever did see." -

Does Finidi George make Alan Lee look like Jairzinho?
Is Ipswich´s ground sponsored by port-a-loo?
Did Finidi George drink Woodfordes?

WAs Finidi George a footballer?
An internet-only football show is being launched by ITV Anglia.
That was well-thought out, then. There''s places near me who don''t have the internet. In fact, in Happisburgh they still rub sticks together to make fire. -
Should target 16 points from that lot, if we can strengthen the squad.Eight games unbeaten! We''re so much better with Fotheringham. -
Hahahahahaha. Couldn''t happen to a better club! Haven''t won in the league since start of December, getting bashed by Palace today.
What you think of that annoying Wolves fan who clutters up our board?! How is Macarthy not managing to get your good squad going?
Yes. Wolves are rather full of themselves for a club that''s done nothing for years. A lot of clubs have this "sleeping giant" tag - Newcastle, for example - whereas Wolves are more like a comatose troll. -

Brown got subbed...Sub scored with his first touch! -
Woohoo! This is brilliant! -
I not want to sound rude but have anyone considered Boris may be other than person he says and might be having big laugh at all Norwich and their fans, no? -
Here here thorpey!
Perhaps he appears negative but perhaps just perhaps he''s doing that for the good of the club, he is a succesful businesman!!! He''s more open to the fans than you would get at most clubs, and he doesnt get through managers like Newcastle.
You might not like some of his ways, but we could do alot worse!
Yes, he''s doing it for the good of the club. "You''ll thank me for this one day," he says, patting the Barclay Stand on the head as he sells off a few more players and lays the first brick of what will be the new Bus Terminus which adjoins the City Stand...And he doesn''t hire or fire managers Huddy, that''s a board decision.Successful businessman? Show me his track record. -

£200k for Parker. Real bargain. How annoyed would Barnsley be if he turned up on our bus on Saturday?
Isn''t it true that parker hasn''t ever scored in the champ though? or did I hear wrong?
Sign him up, then - he''d fit right in. -
Strihavka should be given more of a chance.
Er - no.The goal he scored was rather like Chris Martin''s miss yesterday - anyone could have scored it (except Martin, apparently). And there''s a reason he''s only played 350 minutes of first team football under 3 managers who have seen him train each day - he''s not good enough and will be sold. -

Amusingly, when Burnley played Charlton recently, the Burnley fans were all singing to the tune of "If you''re happy and you know it....""If Danny Mills can play for England, so can I".Many a true word, and all that. Good luck at Derby, Danny, see you next year unless you get yourself sent off and banned again. -
It wasn''t me, but as you''re asking for an apology on a petty matter, and asking for it before you''ve been proven right, I''m happy to suggest that whoever called you a muppet was pretty much spot-on. -
Right..... nice idea, but this wouldn''t work. Who would the match sponsors give MotM to if Russell''s only on the bench?Agree Dublin can have the weekend off if he likes, rest them old bones.Shop window for Lappin and Brown? - why not. -
If you get rid of the academy, you condemn the club to a squad of middle-aged journeymen and unproven youngsters from other clubs... i.e. where we are now, but every single season. No thanks. -
