As Mister Chops has said, I can smell something on the wind... -
Can anyone else smell something?
I can, Chopsy. And it''s not horse, and it''s not cow...I''m pretty sure it''s bull. -
As long as the long-term plan involves the centre backs NOT hoofing it up to a target man any chance they get, I''ll be happy with that. -
Just for a serious point though, right now Delia is getting very little adulation by beeing an NCFC director, and after ''that'' half time speech against Man City very little prestige either.
So you accept her antics have damaged the club''s reputation more than they have enhanced it? -
if you think he has come on so far he must have been bloody useless at man city, wow he had one good game, and all of a sudden he is a world beater, you will be compring him to ronaldo next!!
he can''t cross a ball, so he obviously ain''t that good if he can''t do the basics right, chadwick all the way
Displaying as much intelligence and insight as I''d expect from a man with a drawing of Peter Manley as his avatar. -
Why would we want him anyway? A right back who can give Otsemobor competition - but he doesn''t need it, he''s not exactly slacking. Strange. And probably completely untrue. -
Were you at the game James?
I was, my transatlantic friend. Were you? And why do you ask? -
Great, but how will this stop us dominating games without scoring? -
Heard this rumour at half time.
Don''t know if theres anything in it.
Well, thanks for sharing! I don''t think we''ve had nearly enough speculation about this. -
Could easily have been 3-0. The ball didn''t fall for us in the area, we hit the bar, their keeper made three good saves, we sent in cross after cross that wouldn''t drop... so frustrating.Camara was dodgy but picked up 2nd half. -
Rumour has it that Darren Huckerby is going to Crystal Palace. Like i said its only a rumour from a steward.
Remember when Keegan sold Andy Cole, and ten thousand Geordies mobbed the ground to ask why, why, why? This will be nothing like that.Huckerby''s looked lazy, disinterested and overweight for most of this season. Let''s get rid and bring in players who aren''t living on past glories. Thanks for the memories, Darren. There''s the door. -
it was a tap in according to SSN. anyone could have done it.
So was Strihavka''s goal (albeit a header) - but that didn''t stop half this board bleating on about how he wasn''t given a fair chance.Good luck Chris Brown. -
Ameobi is starting for Newcastle, spose thats it on that one then, Doh !!
So let''s get Martins or Viduka! -
We didn''t miss him today. Let''s use the money on someone who knows where the goal is. -
With that user name, you''ll still probably miss it. -
We should have beaten Leicester 3 or 4-0.Marshall 6 - steady, not very busyOtsemobor - 7 - good game, linked up wellCamara - 6 - not his best, but better 2nd halfShackell - 7 - clean sheet, defended wellDoherty - 7 - as Shackell. 2nd half header just wideCroft - 8 - MOM - I''m no Croft fan but more performances like this and I will be.Russell - 7 - since when was getting punched in the face a bookable offence?Fotheringham - 7 - kept the midfield ticking over without impressing that muchBetrand - 7 - looked lively, wanted the ball more than he got itDublin - 7 - hit the bar, ran his heart outEvans - 6 - oddly, looked less lively than his 38 year old partnerSubs:Cureton - 6 - forced a good save but fluffed a one on one.We really really need to buy a striker. Or two strikers. -
I can''t stop thinking weird thoughts, either. I once dreamt that a cow ate my arm, and then the cow turned into a cheese.
Oh my god, that was you? -
The Turners''s business is founded upon making debt consolidation loans to homeowners. In the current financial climate, they may not have money (actual money - not paper money) to spare. -
Season ticket increase of two and half percent, so bury that bad news with a possible loan signing on the day of that announcement, that''ll take the fans minds away from said increase.
Well, its a thought!.
First, Wiz, a below inflation rise is not bad news.Second, there''s a long time before the renewal date hits, so it''s not something that would apply for one day only. The club would need to "spin" something every day until early May for this to work. -
Pickle, judging by the font size you use, I''m not convinced you''d be able to see where the goal is. Mind you, that didn''t stop us signing Brown - or Strihavka - or Thorne - or... -
I had a dream last night that...Norwich win 4-0(Evans 2, Dublin, Croft)Clearly I''d been at the cheeseboard before going to bed. -
Heigh ho. That''s rubbish, innit? -
Oh Pickle, you must have run Glenn Roeder really close in that manager''s interview. -
Guaranteed first team football every week - more weekly wages - the chance to work with the man who managed him successfully at international level?Hopefully Birmingham will need to make some money and will now sell us Taylor.
Riordan would only cost us 800k!
