Unnecessarily harsh and pointless post. He didn''t come here expecting his time here to end how it has, no-one does. Gunn brought him here thinking he could do a job, he thought it was a good move, it didn''t work out. Why to people feel the need to respond in this way in these situations?
Because he is shite
here we go again...yet another player we have to say goodbye to before someone gets upset that we didnt.
Thanks for being Crap Simon, you leecheed god knows how much off the club in wages for absolutely nothing at all.. League 2 seems your level and you are now free to dsicuss terms with the 24 teams in it..
Legend for Norwich!

Whaley is the poorest excuse for a professional (use of the word lightly) I have seen since, probably, Victor Segura. Utter plop. Good riddance.
Gunny, you have a lot to answer for!!!
-
Anyone heard anything? Is this waste of space still depleting club funds without any output in return? There were rumours of loan deals, which seemed to go quiet as soon as they were published.
As a p.s., I''m glad Whaley has gone. Utter plop; another great Gunn signing!!!!!

and he''ll sniff out a goal with his nose............
I disagree. If Holt had pushed, punched or done something unforgivable to be sent off then I do agree. But he didn''t he over committed himself for what was a sending off.
I clapped because he''s been outstanding for us this season and if I had the choice of having him on the form he''s been on this season and getting sent off and missing the next 3 games OR having someone like Cureton without any red cards. I''d choose Holt any time.
What? The ''over commitment'' as you say was Holt''s 2 footed lunge on the poor sod''s leg.
Having seen it over and over again on the highlights, yea, he deserved his red card. A tackle like that in something like Sunday league football would probably also earn a quick smack in the mouth. It was shocking.
-
Just watched the Football League highlights. Ref got it spot on IMHO. Straight red for violent conduct = 3 game ban? Time for Oli to step up to the plate...........
and kieron dyer may be hanging up his boots so he will get a pay out!

What the bloody hell has that got to do with the fine?

Reported that Middlesborough have made Hoolahan #1 target in the January window.
Now I know the club are massively in debt but keeping Hoolahan is key to achieving automatic promotion. The guy is class in this league.
Forster
R. Martin, Doc/Askou, Whitbread, Drury
Russell
Smith, Lappin
Hoolahan
C. Martin, Holt
Subs: Rudd, Spillane, Doc/Askou, Hughes, McNamee, Johnson, Whaley (give him one more chance)
Give Whaley one more chance? Are you mad, Sir? This guy is utter plop. Indicative of Mr Gunn''s tenure as manager.

That''s another 2 points made up -
and appear on countdown -
Because I cant stand Gill - I genuinely think OTJ is the better player. Dont you?
They are both plop
-
Agree the guy had a small bit of promise before he smashed his leg to bits, but never thought he would make the grade and wouldn''t get a look in with the current squad though. I can see Anglian Combination beckoning for the lad if he stays in this area. No better than that, I''m afraid

I think that the OP might be on the right track, but if any of the assets were to be sold and rented back I suspect it would most likely be Colney -

With Gary Megson sacked with immediate effect, the opportunity for Paul Lambert to prove his credentials emerges yet again. A friend of a cousin of my aunt who lives on the next street to Phil Gartside (his house is massive) says that Lambert''s emerging as one of the main contenders. If this is true then it shows how pathetic everything and everyone at Carrow Road is, but if it is not true then everything is okay again.
Does the dog know anything Mr C?[;)]
How would Chops know anyway Wiz? This is the biggest load of plop I have ever heard. Utter cak.

What a burke you are

Who gives a toss about who said what? If, and I stress IF Lambert did make comments to the ref to suggest that the game be postponed, he should be applauded. Walsall had a weekend off, we had a number of injuries. Well done, Lambert.
I''m sure compensation for those who travelled in vein will come in the form of promotion in May. Will all who have whined about this episode still be whining in May?

I''ve watched 2 matches at the same time down at Sloughbottom Park - does that count? -

Full of festive cheer then?

CB is obviously a problem. Nelson might be ok in the air but turns like the QE2, so needs someone with a smidgeon of pace beside him.
Forster
Otsemobor Nelson Martin Drury
Russell
Hughes Lappin
Hoolahan
Holt Martin
Still have the option of going 4-4-2 with McNamee on the bench and maybe even dropping Russell in alongside either Martin or Nelson, if either of them are getting ripped to shreds.
Gonna be a tough game.

1. If Whaley is on £8k a week, he should be sued under the trade description act
2. It doesn''t matter what formation is played to include Whaley. The guy is utter plop. He has no football brain or tactical acumen.
Saw him in the early season reserve game against Southend''s kids and he was roaming around like a little boy lost. He took a whack in the 1st half and it looked at one point that he couldn''t continue. At that point I turned to my mate and said that if they stretchered him off no-one would know the difference.
If we can get a set of training bibs or cones for him, take it. He ain''t worth a lot more than that.

I can see this being a sketch on Harry Hill''s TV Burp :
"I like Alan Lee but I also like Grant Holt. But which one''s best? There''s only one way to find out! FIGHT!"
My Personal Thought....Sorry It's long
