That's impressive viewing. How does that compare to non international weekends when there are premier league/championship games on at tgw same time?

I doubt it's anywhere near that.

I wish I'd watched it. Always good to see Liverpool lose!

is it really Liverpool stuggle to have any attachment to the teams

What an absolute load of nonsense. And "Basildon Birds" is sexist.

the endgame needs to be woman playing in the football league but we are a long way of that maybe in 7-10 years the current crop outside the topflight play vs part time players Champions league vs the postwoman and bricklayer other then a few elite teams

currently they are two different sports I would say with one funding the other but since the mens game is built on debt that sort of cancels that argument out

The Arsenal Women's coach has said that some players are struggling in the WSL on as little as £20K.

I find this puzzling as the minimum wage for a 23 year old is £21K. So if the wages are low then that is down to the clubs. Its not a matter for the Equal Pay Commission.

I think you will find its 20k a month

had one of the womans superleage players on radio 2 saying the average wage was 10-20k a month now and it was a stuggle for some players to cover all the travel expenses ect  I lost all interest at this point and thought she needs to live in the real world

Grant Holt, Norwich man, motivator, big hearted, universally liked and respected, knows how to win...........“I’ve done all my badges, I’ve done a management diploma. It’s on the agenda, either management or being a sporting director in the next few years. I’ve been trying to build up my knowledge of what goes on behind the scenes in football, not just on the grass.”

He'd need an assistant - any ideas??

Wonder when he will be given his chance........

He works at a private school coaching children atm

my Daughters school played them in the county finals last year

Yes he is back. Simply not enough refs and he keeps getting back on.

Bizzare offside decision from a bonkers angle - but you can’t blame him for that. Sadly.

PS to be honest Ashley Young will ref the game anyway. He always does. Hooper can put his feet up.

most Bizzare thing about it was there was no pass and it deflected from a everton player

Went right off him at the time he and Jonathan Ross played that awful prank on Andrew Sachs on the phone regarding his granddaugther.

I do think that the comments on here focussing more on his outspoken views on politics rather than whether he's actually guilty of what he's accused of raise a serious question as to whether he can get a fair trial for the alleged crimes.

certain there are plenty off people who dont have a clue who he is outside of ohh thats the voice from that cartoon movie

His far-right supporters will defend him, sadly. They'll claim it's the mainstream media coz of their 'agenda'. We really are in weird times when people rush to defend stuff like this.

    Far Right?

one quick read later turns out I was right to ignore his existence as a drug fueled moron

he has gone from Extreme Left wing **** to Alt Right wing podcaster  what a bell

At heart I am a paid-up member of 'Against Modern Football', so anything that torpedoes the Premier League big boys is fine by me.

Which takes us to Saudi Arabia trying to muscle in at the head of the table of world domestic football.

Modern Football sees an increasing gap between the Premier League and the Championship. Elsewhere someone has rightly said this season's Championship is the most mental ever. True enough, but Luton, Sheff Utd and Burnley are demonstrating that being outstanding a League below cuts little ice in the Premier.

So, once Saudi has raided the PL for players to the point where a critical mass of players has been procured, and the process becomes commonplace, might we just see a closing of the gap between PL and Championship? Might some PL investors decide they can't beat them, so they will join them. I do hope so.

    no

all we will see is the saudi league paying over the odds for players to secure behind the scenes deals with people outside football

vile country that shouldnt even be allowed to take part in international sport
