Maybe try Pattison in the middle and move stick Huckerby on the left (sounds like competition for his place did him no harm tonight).

    tend to agree with you

also think the suspension helped hucks he looked to be strugleing for fitness all season and maybe the time of plus the international break

has given him the chance to reach his  own often stated high levels of fitness
Were you there 7Rew? I managed to grab a few tickets as well but didn''t spot you...

Anyways... It was indeed a good performance, and it was mostly our reserves as well against some "big money" signings for Man City - Samaras alone cost about 6 times more than our own strike force tonight! We held out well, Doc defended and more importantly led from the back (I know, it shocked me too) and it was only really Man City''s good use of width that troubled us - until, that is, the ball through the middle that opened us up.

It''s easy for the usual crowd to leap upon everyone praising Norwich tonight, pleading calm cos "we haven''t turned the corner yet." But then, these are the same people who cry and bleat when we lose.... it''s as if some people can''t be pleased, God forbid..... [;)]
It was an irrelevance....and we lost to Man City reserves.....

And we have turned the corner....heading due south.....rapidly. Bleating is left to the apologists...as the realists just say it how it is.
Iam sorry but it was not a irrelevance or as some claim a corner turned but what we did gain

    was

Ian murry getting his chance in the centre of defence and playing a blinder vs a 15 million strike force maybe he can be the man to steady the doc and help build his confidence something he is lacking in big time

spilane and rossi finaly getting a chance and on the performance staking a claim for a start on sunday

what we have lacked this season is passion and pride and both of them have it in buckets

  3. iam sorry but in my eyes iam seeing a young manager trying to build his own squad and i do not expect instant sucess

this season is for bedding in and changes and maybe the year after

as for the quality who left could you name them ??

two guys whos songs where better than they every where

ethue who got boed most games and constant abuse for being lazy and inefective?

earnie who in all fairness i did like

thorne ? is he one of the guys your talking about ?

when will people like you get it into your heads we are not a force in the this league and have never been

    Shocking tactics.

Brellier was clearly unfit, so shouldn''t have been fielded in the first place and Cureton''s, who saved Grant''s bacon, coming off was totally unecessary.

    Grant worries me.
Grant doesnt want Cureton getting to big for his boots by scoreing a hattrick.  You forget Grant has a problem with players with ability.  Probably due to the fact he was a talentless pile of **** when he was playing here.
Have to agree about grants time here as a player awful waste of space

but!! and its a big but all the celtic fans i have talked to in the past count him as a legend and say up untill a injury just before he joined us he was like there roy keane

  5.
Grant, he is a league one standard assistant manager who is tactically inept.

       GRANT OUT

I will be protesting at every home game this season
compared to hamilton/john deehan/ bruce rioc(cant spell it)/megson/walker(2nd spell)/worthington (last 2 years lost his way)

he is like a breath of fresh air a  young manager learning his trade never liked him as a player

but as a manager he is willing to try new things and i for one think he needs 2 full seasons just to build a side

we are not a force and never have been since we went down most of you morons have delusions of grandure

  6. anyone consider that he had his word with the players then they all decided to cop the piss out of the edp with some made up statement

gets the fans rilled up and talking and backing little jamie to the hilt cult hero that i think he might become

happy with the result is a understatement normaly we would roll over and die vs lower league teams in the cup

  7.
there is no comparison between the two imo.
Iam sorry but read this board everyday and never bothered to register and before anyone flames me

yes i was a season ticket holder and go to games

had to give it up since the return to work of my missus and the new little fellow

but you dont know anything the first season iwan was here he was abused solid by the barcley went to at least 3 games where

the lower C/D/E boed him solid everytime he touched the ball though doubtfull any of them will admit it

really fed up with the constant putting down of the new players they might not all be the best but would rather have all of them

over the gutless monkeys we let go
