not for me not prima donna manager who apparently would call of training if it rained -
I agree he is a excellent prospect but to many games will ruin him the same way its worn Redmond out as the season has gone on -
depends on what type of back injury it is I tore a muscle in my shoulder blade as was laid up for 4 let alone playing sport some people slip a disc are of work for months or he could just have a minor knock -
and did we win the toss? -
Elmander did ok when he came on Pilkington was dire but then most fans look at him with the rose tinted goggles fer terrible martin outmatched all game -
new baby in the house that explained my dip in form the last one nearly killed me with sleepless nights -
only clicked on this to say people who put .... after a title need shooting ;) -
could do with a couple of bodies if memory serves we still had 3 1st team slots when the season started but could be wrong -
doesn''t sound to bad to me think we need a freshen up so to speak more than anything else -
So a 26 year old defender with experience of the top flight and learning his trade in championship is now the wrong choice ???the minds of some people baffle me if he was 28 and playing for Birmingham in the summer they would be moaning about how is to old but now it turns out Davis is a football god who can do no wrong All I see everyday is people on here looking for a stick to beat the club with its getting beyond a joke now -
any excuse for a stick to beat the manager with from a lot of the people on here -
1st Wizard that is a bit of a naive view. Im not going to get back into the discussion about financial constraints but. . . . .
surely you can see that he was the worst striker we have had ever and only a team in a dire financial state (as said by the manger) would buy him - no good would as he cant score. So to even make half what we paid back let a lone a profit is nothing short of a miracle.

I have it on good knowledge that ipswich town have put in a bid which has thought to have been accepted by Karen Brady''s Birminghim City...
Apparently unlike us, town (on mr evans as the case is) has put up the required £1million needed to talk personal terms.. looks like glenn needs to make a decision sooner rather then later, and with this iliev bloke possibly coming in, it looks like he has already made the decision
i''ll guess we shall see how much taylor really wanted to come to us
nah, can''t see it myself.
if true though, shows how far we''re falling under this board.
it was roader who decided we would not bid over a certain amount the guy even said that in the paper
birmingham wanted us to comit to a long term loan deal and then sign him at the end of that from what i read
-
After bidding 750k for Iliev and also reports today that we are after midfielder Chris Armstrong from sheff utd for 900k we must have quite a healthy transfer kitty. Now that Ched Evans is not coming back, you''d think that a forward would be top of Roeders shopping list and i think we will see someone coming in very soon. All this makes you think we have far more in the transfer kitty than the club is letting on. But how much has Roeder got to spend and why didn''t he spend just 250k more to get Taylor?
someone i was talking to today went on about us having 5 million but where the hell he got that number from is beyond me
maybe its the new investors the cska chairman mentioned
Cant wait for all the moaning Ramadan nonsense again....... Will you all be whining when he gets picked for Bulgaria?
all the bulgarians i know would be very offended by that
after years of being opressed as part of the ottoman empire
-
someone showed me this today from when cska played liverpool
-
I think his exit has more to do with his time at sunderland before he joined us
than lack of any ability
Roader gives the impression of wanting a hard working profesional team not people just along for the ride/lifestyle
-
in all fairness we could do with a couple of centre backs
the doc has been playing well but shackell is fast turning into a dire player (which is a shame as i did rate him once and he is a local lad)
if we do get this guy it still wouldnt suprise me if taylor turned up then giving up 4 players to fight for 2 spots something we have not had in many a year at the back

holty was ex-forces -
Yeah.... catering.
He was rubbish, the worst game was at palace when Shacks played left back and had a mare......
Safri was a different class...... I''ll always remember Grant for stitching up Safri
Rose coloured goggles
nearly every game safri would give possesion away in our final third i lost count of the number of times droped us in it
an above average player iam sorry to say goes into the (best thing about him was his song box)
holt while not being the most gifted player in the world would hussle win balls and cover back well only problem i had was when he tried
to play football all you wanted him to do was win the ball and pass it simple
a different class you have to talking someone of ian crooks stature or andy townsend / ruel fox
as for stiching up wasnt safri late by several hours for the pre season photo shoot because he was picking up his agent while trying to find a way out of norfolk asap
-
under the cosh all game
but will take this everytime over the last 3-4 years we have strugled to get anything away from home so all wins are a bonus
well done the lads and the doc as our man of the match ?
-
you go to italy and lots of the managers are italian you to spain they are spanish
you come here and we have allways been over run with forigners be them scots/irish/welsh or what ever still not english
its a long running problem not just a new one there has to be a limit on how many non english players and staff a team can field or employ
that way more english will move into coaching but this will take years

if anyone heard it lol
made me smile
I smiled too but Smudger is not an Ipswich fan.
I hope you''re not suggesting he''s a Norwich fan ricardo because no Norwich fan hopes their team will lose and are relegated or turns on their fellow fans amongst many other things.
I guess there isnt many true city fans on here then if the last couple of months posts are anything to go on..
if you heard it you would know its nothing to do with who he suports i believe he is a norwich fan trust me heard worse from the people around me for the last 4 years
it was more the way they said they better read it out after the number of texts
as for his views iam on the opinion that a protest will only sap what will the players have and doom us
but then only a very small miniority ever protested for a reason unlike when it was chase out and a hell of a lot of people did
last time when it was worthy out about 20 blokes where outside the south stand and they got more abuse from people walking past than support
might as well stick them in the same boat with the canary fairy prat and ship them out to sea

if anyone heard it lol
made me smile
