I hope they can patch things up (if he deserves the 2nd/3rd chance) because he could be a useful player at this level for us. -

Can''t say I''ve ever seen him play (which could be a point in itself!). Not too fussed as long as we bring in some more cover. Personally I''d like to see Declan Rudd given the number 1 shirt for the start of the season. He has looked quality and always seems to rise to the occasion. -

At the end of the day, there''s no harm in inviting him to train with the lads. Like Gunny has said, it''s an open-minded arrangment. If he looks like he could do a job, then get him in on a short-term deal with appropriate clauses etc. If he doesn''t, then say ''thanks but no thanks''. I can''t believe some people are so negative all the time about everything. Granted it''s not setting the world alight, but it might work out and quite frankly it''s a win-win situation for the club. -

Paul McVeigh is apparently taking part in pre-season training with the club. Gunn says that both parties are open-minded as to what happens for next season.... -
