>All that really needs to be done for now is to use the players we have correctly,Not true - we desperately need another centre halfif Grounds gets injured or recalled then we are stuffed (again).Same if Doc gets injured. -
Gunn has been in charge of ''Player Recruitment'' for about a year - you think he might have phoned before now! -
So Simon Lappin, Julien Brellier, ian Murray and Dave Strihavka are pooling their resources to buy the Club.Part of the deal is that they all have to play every week. -
>I did wonder about this. I don''t like the thought of "Gunn Out" echoing around Carrow Road. Nor the thought of the headline "Gunn Fired!" when it all went wrong.;o) -
...and yet someone, somewhere will give them another job at some point. -
>I still don''t understand his fixation with an Archant message board and Norwich City. He''s here trawling for potential stories - I thought we all knew that? -
That''s weird - on Friday you were saying the Board had already decided to give Gunny the job full-time. -
He took the chance well but he did pretty much nothing for the 70 minutes prior to that.Well done to him for the goal and I hope it is a fresh start for him but he needs to work on his movement off the ball. Too often he''s standing in useless positions and not making runs for the through ball. -
Going back to Mick Dennis, JJ asks if the ''bile'' was really that strong and I can say I witnessed the fans having words with Munby at half time.Dennis describes them as having faces ''contorted with rage'' as though they were thugs. In reality, these were 2 or 3 rather elderly gentlemen (late 60s/70s) who were having a firm, but polite, word with Mr Munby. I didn''t see anything threatening about it but I guess it suits MD''s purposes to paint all disgruntled fans in a bad light. -
>I''d always assumed with his frequent references to sausages that he was a butcher.Me too. How very odd.Still, very nice tribute and he will be much missed around these parts. -
Why is it a surprise? It''s only the people on forums like this who have decided that he MUST be on his way (from reading the runes/tea-leaves or whatever).Personally I''m not convinced he is the answer. I like his motivational skills but not sure about his tactical nous. -
Even if we beat Barnsley 14-0 tomorrow Bryan Gunn will not get the job on a permanent basis. That''s not a dig at the man himself, just the plain honest truth.Though no doubt, if we DID win 14-0 tomorrow, Wizzy would be the first one on here saying he should get the job. -
Just had a look at the eBay page and people are bidding away for "The Shirts of Shame" (after Tuesday''s performance). No bids for Simon Lappin''s shirt yet - c''mon ''We Want Worthy Back'', put your money where your mouth is!;o) -

Worthy returning - even as caretaker - would be a nightmare.More crazy tactics, weird gobbledegook press conferences, bizarre substitutions, players played out of position, "favourites" played ahead of obvious choices.Remind you of anyone? -
Let''s hope not -
I agree, I wouldn''t sell him.Hopefully this is just ''paper talk''. -
"Leeds boss Simon Grayson is plotting a £300,000 move for Norwich midfielder Wes Hoolahan. (The Sun)"...according to bbc gossip site.Strange one - can only have come from his agent surely? Trying to stir the pot for another pay day?Would you take £300k for Wes right now? -
On the upside, I see that Matt Smith is taking over as the new Dr Who.Presumably he won''t have time to do the ITV football stuff as well.... -
I didn''t take it personally, don''t worry!I''m basically agreeing with you - Lappin could take a good free kick and hit some decent shots with his left foot but overall he wasn''t good enough. This campaign to get him back in the squad is ridiculous and just shows how short people''s memories are. -
I think a player has to have started X number of games in the season to be eligible for POTS votes so this is a non-starter.Personally I think ''We Want Worthy Back'' is Simon Lappin in disguise the way he keeps banging on about this! Either that or some relation....Give it a rest! -
I was being charitable to the OP - I should have put "He was ''ok'' at left back".In relative terms it wasn''t great (hence my comment about Ian Murray). Let''s not forget that he was on of the ''Plymouth 6'' who Roeder said would never play for NCFC again.Mind you, I was there when he scored that fabulous free-kick at Luton so he did have some skill, however his overall game was lacking. -
>And he cant be worse than Omozusi was against forest I''d bet you a tenner he couldHe was Ok at left back, pretty poor at left midfield. Can''t see him setting the world alight at centre half. What next? A campaign to bring back Ian Murray?! -
>it went all downhill from the moment he left PalaceYes, after he started believing the hype about himself (imo).
Rednapp's analysis last night - a warning City?
