    But if we had let Thorne out on loan would we of replaced him.....no...we never replace strikers that we lose to injury or sell.  We are facing a relegation dogfight without a recognised centre forward at the football club..... What bloody chance have we go ?! it''s absolutely scandalous, Delia Smith hang your head in shame !!

    I''m sorry but i''m getting pretty sick of these sort of posts, the time to put things into perspective has gone we are sinking deeper and deeper into the mire and still a lot fans seem ignorant as to our plight.  I''m sick to the back teeth of losing every single away bloody match aren''t you !?  Yes, we need to pull together but with the way the squad is at the moment we havn''t a prayer of staying up.

    WE HAVE NO STRIKERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Come on LGT get real when did we last achieve a clean sheet away from home ?

    Our defence is still error ridden, we can''t defend set pieces and to boot we''re now lumbered once again with the dreaded Gallager between the sticks.  I regretably am gonna go for 3-1 to Preston.

    We have no strikers a dodgy goalkeeper and a defence like a swiss cheese.  We are in big trouble as a football club.

    I would suggest to you all that if Smudger wasn''t a genuine supporter of this club then he wouldn''t bother coming on here....and why ? because he wouldn''t be sufficiently interested to cast an opinion.  I agree some of his opninions are a touch extreme and misguided but i also agree with alot of what he says.  I mean can anyone really big this board and say that they havn''t grossly mismanaged this football since that fateful May Sunday by the Thames ??? well, if you can it would be interesting to hear your thoughts.

    Give the guy a break he just cares about this football club of ours.

    I agree its a stone bonker certainty unless something drastic is done.  By that i mean Grant must go and go now.  We need an old head to steer us into calmer waters before a long term appointment can be arranged. 

    The man i''m talking about is Dave Stringer.  Norwich City through and through.

    I''m sorry, i will no doubt get slated for wanting Grant to go so early but i just don''t think he realises what he''s taken on here and as a consequence looks out of his depth. All in all our club is a shambles and i for one am in a very black mood tonight.

    Is anyone really that surprised that League 1 is sneaking up on us, because it is ! The board of this football club have taken the word Complacency to a new level and should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.  The writing was on the wall at the back end of last and yet still we were stuck with the Worthless one at the start of the current campaign.  Yes, they sacked him a year too late and then appointed an even more inept version.

    Delia Smith sort this mess out or get the hell out of our club !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I was at St Mary''s today and even though  we rallied in the last 15 minutes we still deserved to lose by at least 2 clear goals.  Ok we scored first, and it was a good goal but that was the only shot and chance we had in the entire first half.....that to me is just not good enough.  The most depressing thing is tht nothing really has changed since worthless left.....i think thats why everyone i so disappointed in Grant''s start.

    I can''t see us being live On TV as the media just aren''t interested in NCFC.  I''d rather not witness the disinterested expressions on Messrs Lineker and Lawrenson''s faces thanks ! Plus we''re rubbish on live tele anyway and would probably lose.

    Only time will tell.  I think we need to consider that he has inherited a very poor side with a losing mentality away from home.  I must say though don''t like this public putting down of players that should be done within the confines of the dressing room or at Colney.  The first thing he needs to do is wead out the rubbish and that will take time as it cannot be done overnight.  We need some young fresh talent in midfield to supersede the dross that Robinson and Hughes provide on a weekly basis.

    The ONLY priority on that showing is to stay in this division.  My heart sunk out of my backside when i saw the team sheet before the game.  I mean with a midfield of Etuhu, Hughes and Robinson you just knew what was coming and that was wave after wave of blue shirts swarming all over us.  Unfortunately, with the dross we have on our bench substitutions are virtually pointless .  We have noone on the bench who can come on and change the course of a game.  It was a very very depressing and worrying afternoon.  

    Mr Grant WHERE ARE THE YOUNGSTERS !!!!???
