Do we play Col U soon? I''ve a feeling Micky adams is a coach there -

As neither have any experience of management in England, it would be a disaster of biblical proportions!.
I am sure Arsenal fans thought the same when they appointed the relatively unknown Arsene Wenger from the J League as well. I say go for him!
What a truely magnifcent and potty comparrison, we''re not in Arsenal''s cosy comfort zone, or ever likely to be!.
Arsenal weren''t as dominant as they are now... We are not in that comfort zone, but he was untested and worked a treat, it could well with him to be fair, but I''m sceptical, but Wiz whoever is the new boss deserves a chance..
-
Well I''m somewhere (at home) and I know something, but not about the new manager - apart from the fact it''ll be somebody.
I''ll get my coat...
-
Imo, that''s ridiculous never gonna happen! why would he come here when he''s got money and talent at watford, unlike us??? also think how high the compensation would be.. definite no go. -
I was thinking the same, all thoese posts slagging him off and as soon as he''s gone everyone posts what a nice guy he was.
There were quite a few of us on here who wanted to give him a bit longer but after the shambles at QPR it was always going to be difficult for him to carry on.
Shame because I liked the guy and his passion for our club and wanted him to turn it round.
I agree with you their that''s what I thought as well! But I think people wanted him to go as it wasn''t working but it don''t stop people thinking he was a good guy, and I think most (not all) people knew that. I can''t remember much from when Worthy was sacked but I''m sure there was a bit less of the ''good luck'' posts.
Grant doing the honourable thing and walking will solve nothing... it is about as much use as an under water fart!!!
All is forgiven for the board now is it as they employ another numpty to throw peanuts at???
The wooly flock are so easily pleased yet again I see... and you wonder why the realists mock you so..... hahahahahahahaha!!!!
I think PG going will solve a bit of the problem even though i backed him.. I''ve not seen anyone say that alls fine - in fact I feel more people than ever are questioning the board and their judgement. Someone was watching Anglia News this morning and they were asking fans and apparantly they were mostly blaming the board.. So I

Do you know what time the Diss thing ends? ''Cos I might look to go to that. Depending when it finish and when the last train back is! -
If only we could be that confident. Ipswich are more likely to stuff us unfortunately. -
It could be anything, it could be something about the club and norwich''s fault, but as none of us no it could quite easily not be... -
You don''t know what his reasons are, it could be personal and nothing to do with football - and probably is as Saints aren''t doing much better than us. -
Ok Wiz.. You tell me who should replace PG and why they would want to come to Norwich? Also if people insult you as much as you are asking them to you will then start the oh why are people allowed to make personal attacks...
I''m not one of the positive lot, I''m as fed up and pissed off as everyone with the state the club is in, but it''s all well and good sacking a manager but you''ve got to then get someone better and who will actually be given a chance by the fans. If a new manager fails to improve the situation you''ll call for their head after about 20 games.
I want us to win, and hope that after a win PG might be able to turn it around (you never know he might) and to be honest I''d rather that to happen than lose another game put us further into trouble just to sack the manager. You are a joke - you''d rather lose to sack the manager than hope they win to help the situation?
-
I think JC''s age is showing now, even though he''s not had many chances to score. Earnie (oh how we miss him) could make chances for himself, JC can''t I don''t think.
-
If we only had one striker on the bench people probably would''ve complained he wasn''t doing enough to try and win it.. Least with 3 (yes I know they didn''t all come on apart from martin) there''s more possible options. -
Well JC....let''s hope you''re right.
The sooner the better perhaps before the kettle comes to the boil....although an astute investor may just wait until Smith is desperate to bail out.....thus lowering their asking price. Hence more for the club at a later date....and less in Smith''s purse. I just pray however that Smith and MJW are not given any influential or risidual role...as it time for them to leave....permanently.
Even more reason to boycott Smith''s NCFC then if it may help bring about a radical and potentially exciting change soon.

I think, to be fair, she has done a bit for the club (albeit not as much as she likes everyone to think) so I don''t think it would be wrong to let her have a directors box seat for life. But you''re right, I would only want that if they had virtually no influence.

and if we win? -

You are an absolute digrace to this club Smudger. You dont deserve to call yourself a fan. Oh and for any of his equally pathetic "sympathisers" I dont care how much he supposes to love the club or that it''s his opnion. Frankly I''m sick of reading the negative tripe he spouts on an almost daily basis. Oh and no I wont just ignore him or leave the messageboard because such terminally annoying posts and posters need to be told about it. This isnt what a messageboard should be about. Sort it out.
Then I suggest that you go and make your own lovey dovey message board where everything in the garden is smelling of roses and you all have one ''BIG HUNKY DOREY LOCK IN LOVE SESSION'' Geeza in Yellow.
Because this place and the state that the club is in at the moment calls for heated debate.
Smudger you are a disgrace.. I am not happy with the club at all at the moment and am as fed up and angry as anyone, but I always want Norwich to win. Survival is the main issue now, as I do not want to be playing league 1, and if we are in that league or this league whether delia or grant stay or go won''t make a difference as if anything happens it will happen whatever.
-
Well there was a certain match against Rooney and Co when we won 2-0.. how times have changed -
That''s why I lay blame on the board for the mess we''re in... -
I totally agree with you there, it''s what I think. Only thing I worry is that Delia and co have dragged us so low no one will want to buy her shares and invest in the club! -
I agree with all of that! Although for the record I''m sure we rejected a bid of £4m for O''neil and then later that season we sold him for £750k as his contract was nearly up. Might be wrong tho. -
Isn''t it 125k for england cap, 125k for playing in europe for wet sham, and like 20% sell on... I think I read Shearer backed him for England, hopefully he''ll go somewhere like Newcastle you know how much they over pay for players!!! -
-
Funny how none of that is invested in the squad then...
Anyway the point they wer making was that ND was trying to suggest that the board have invested a lot in the squad, when in actual fact they haven''t as the turnover is much higher now
-
Mr Carrow, you should send that to ND and see what he says back, I''m not sure how he could really spin his way out of that as you''ve pointed everything out!
Just in case this turns out to be true, new manager is....

The AGM was in the Norfolk Lounge in the Barclay last night!
That said, it''s all roughly the same place so anythings possible.. I can''t decide if he''d be good or bad!
